About me and my therapy practice

People often come to counselling when something in life no longer feels sustainable - perhaps you are living with loss, facing the impact of illness, struggling with relationships, or feeling unsettled in ways that are hard to name. You may be used to coping on your own, but you do not have to face this alone.  You do not need to have everything clear before coming - we can begin wherever you are.

I offer a warm, friendly and confidential space where you can speak openly and feel genuinely heard. Together we will go at a pace that feels right for you, helping you to understand yourself more fully and feel more able to meet whatever you are encountering in your life.

i am a qualified Person-centred counsellor and practitioner member of APCCA.  Since qualifying in 2013, I have supported clients through a wide range of deeply personal and challenging experiences, with particular depth of experience in bereavement, cancer, and sexual abuse.

Alongside this, I bring both lived and therapeutic experience of neurodiversity and understand the involvement this can have with other life events and emotional challenges.

Practice description

My approach is compassionate, respectful and collaborative. I will be beside you as you explore what matters most.  When words are difficult to find, I can offer optional creative ways of working - such as drawing, sandtray, collage or symbolic objects - which can help bring awareness and new perspective.

I offer counselling by Zoom, telephone or face to face in Woodcote, South Oxfordshire.
