About me and my therapy practice
On-line CBT Counselling Specialist, Therapeutic Coach and Online Face to Face Practitioner - Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists
I run two busy private counselling practices. One at Harley Street Therapy Centre, 1-7 Harley Street, London W1G and one in Islington, North London.
I have been offering video consultations via Zoom, WhatsApp, Face Time and Teams for many years. This has the advantage of being conducted at your convenience from your own home/office environment.
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is proven to make a big difference to general anxiety disorder, social anxiety, panic disorder and depression, and CBT Counselling is also approved by the NHS.
Right now you might be at your wits end and feeling quite apprehensive about seeing a counsellor. You may feel stressed and unsure about how best to address your issues of concern. I work with your needs as an individual, in a way that will best suit you.
I work within a person-centred framework which incorporates cognitive behavioural therapy, which aims to identify and alter unhelpful thought patterns.
Most common areas that I work with are: Generalised anxiety disorder; Anxiety; Social anxiety; Health anxiety; Depression and low mood; Feeling sad; Low self-esteem; Panic attacks; Relationship challenges and endings; Adjusting to major life transitions; Social media anxiety; Work stress and redundancy; Lack of motivation; Low self-confidence; Family concerns including children and elderly parents; Loss of a loved one by death or in a relationship; Later life/retirement concerns; Eating disorders; LGBTQIA+ issues.
Many people feel substantially different after only one session of Counselling or Therapeutic Coaching.
