About me and my therapy practice
As psychodynamic psychotherapist with over 20 years’ experience working with individuals facing complex emotional, relational, and psychological difficulties. I specialise in working with high-functioning professionals, leaders, and achievers who may appear successful outwardly but experience inner conflict, burnout, trauma, anxiety, or difficulties in relationships and self-worth.
Many of the people I work with are used to carrying responsibility and performing at a high level. Therapy offers a confidential, reflective space where these pressures can be explored rather than managed alone. My work is particularly suited to those seeking depth rather than quick fixes, and who are curious about the underlying patterns shaping their emotional lives.
I work psychodynamically, paying close attention to unconscious processes, early relational experiences, and how past patterns show up in the present. This approach is effective for long-standing and complex issues, including trauma, attachment difficulties, anxiety, depression, shame, and struggles linked to success, power, or identity.
Clients often describe me as calm, thoughtful, and able to hold complexity without judgement. I offer both time-limited and open-ended psychotherapy, depending on your needs.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a compassionate and experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist dedicated to helping individuals uncover the unconscious patterns that shape their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. With over 20 years of experience in the field, I offer a safe and supportive space for clients to explore deep-seated issues, process past experiences, and gain insight into their emotional world.
I specialize in psychodynamic therapy, a deeply reflective and insight-oriented approach that explores the root causes of psychological distress. By understanding the influence of past relationships, childhood experiences, and unconscious conflicts, I help clients achieve lasting emotional growth and improved well-being. Through our work together, you will gain greater self-awareness, break free from unhelpful patterns, and build a more fulfilling life.
I work with adults, couples and organisations facing a variety of challenges.
Unlike short-term symptom-focused approaches, psychodynamic therapy aims to foster deep, long-lasting change by addressing the root causes of distress. This method allows for a richer, more meaningful therapeutic journey that promotes self-discovery and emotional healing.
Practice description
Therapy sessions provide a non-judgmental space where you can speak openly and reflect on your emotions, thoughts, and relationships. Over time, you will gain a deeper understanding of yourself, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and enhance your ability to navigate life's challenges with confidence.
Take the First Step
Healing begins with a conversation. If you’re ready to explore your inner world and work toward meaningful change, I invite you to reach out for a consultation. Let’s embark on this journey together.
My first session
What a consultation session with me will be like:-
A therapy consultation session is really just a first meeting. It’s a chance for you to share what’s been going on in your life and what made you consider therapy. I will ask some questions to get to know you better—things like what you’re struggling with, what’s been stressful, and what you’d like to change or work on your early life and family structure. You don’t need to have all the answers; it’s more about having an open conversation. It’s also your time to get a feel for me, the therapist, ask any questions you have, and see if it feels like a good fit. By the end, you should have a clearer idea of what therapy with me might look like and whether you’d like to continue.
What a session with me will be like:-
A psychodynamic therapy session is a safe space where you can talk openly about whatever’s on your mind—your thoughts, feelings, memories, or even little things that might not seem important at first. I will listen with care and may gently help you notice patterns or connections between your past experiences and the way you’re feeling or relating to others now. The goal isn’t to judge or push you, but to help you understand yourself more deeply and feel freer to make the changes you want in your life.
For example, you might come in feeling upset about a situation at work. As you share with me, I might help you see how the feelings that come up with your boss remind you of how you felt with a parent or teacher growing up. Noticing that connection can make the feelings easier to understand—and give you new ways to handle them moving forward.
