Availability and Practice Hours
I currently have limited availability for new clients and offer both daytime and early evening sessions online via secure video platform. This allows clients to work with me from the comfort and privacy of their own home, wherever they are based in the UK or internationally.
I generally work Monday to Thursday between 9am and 6pm (UK time), with occasional flexibility for clients in different time zones. Sessions are typically held weekly, and I offer both short-term focused work (e.g. 6鈥12 sessions) and longer-term therapy, depending on individual needs and goals.
If you are considering therapy with me, please feel free to get in touch for a brief, no-obligation consultation call to explore whether we might be a good fit to work together. I will always be transparent about my current availability and expected waiting times.
I take planned breaks throughout the year, which I communicate well in advance to existing clients to ensure continuity of care and appropriate support.
I combine my training as a therapeutic coach, 麻豆原创-accredited counsellor, and Eating Freely practitioner to help clients reconnect with their inner calm and confidence.
Please contact me by email to arrange an initial conversation or to be added to my waiting list if no immediate spaces are available.
About me and my therapy practice
How I Work
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and integrative. I draw on counselling, cognitive behavioural, and coaching methods to support clients in understanding themselves more deeply and creating meaningful, lasting change. I offer a calm, non-judgemental space where you can explore the challenges you are facing, make sense of what鈥檚 happening beneath the surface, and begin to move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Many of the people I work with describe feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. Together, we gently explore the thoughts, emotions, and behaviours that may be keeping you in patterns of stress, self-doubt, or people-pleasing. My role is to help you build self-awareness, emotional regulation, and self-compassion so you can make choices that feel aligned with your values and needs.
Sessions are tailored to your goals and pace. Depending on what feels most useful, we may work on identifying unhelpful thinking patterns, strengthening boundaries, improving emotional resilience, or developing practical coping tools for everyday life.
I bring an integrative background as a 麻豆原创-accredited therapeutic coach and counsellor, with additional training in CBT, mindfulness, and positive psychology. This allows me to bridge insight with action 鈥 supporting both emotional healing and personal growth.
I believe therapy should feel like a genuine partnership: respectful, supportive, and empowering. My intention is to help you feel more at ease in yourself, more connected in your relationships, and more confident in navigating life鈥檚 ups and downs.
Practice description
I offer counselling and CBT to adults who are struggling with challenges such as social anxiety, health anxiety, generalised anxiety disorder, OCD, binge eating, binge drinking, gambling, or difficulties connected to the menopause. Many people come to me feeling overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful cycles, or unsure how to make lasting change. My aim is to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can explore what is going on for you and learn practical ways to move forward.
I use a CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) approach alongside counselling skills, which means we can work together both to understand the root of your difficulties and to develop tools and strategies that help you manage day-to-day challenges. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your individual needs, so you can set the pace and focus on what feels most important for you.
Clients often tell me that having the chance to talk openly, reflect on patterns, and practise new coping strategies helps them regain a sense of control, confidence and hope. Whether you are seeking support for a specific issue, or want to build resilience and improve your overall wellbeing, I will walk alongside you as you work towards meaningful and sustainable change.
I offer sessions online and in person in my practice in Holywood Co. Down, with flexible times available. If you are unsure whether therapy is right for you, I encourage you to get in touch for an initial conversation, so you can get a sense of how I work and whether it feels like a good fit for you.

First Session Details
I offer a free 20-minute consultation call before we begin working together. This gives us both a chance to meet, discuss what鈥檚 bringing you to therapy, and decide whether we feel like a good fit. It鈥檚 an opportunity for you to ask questions, get a sense of my approach, and see how therapy might support you at this stage.
If you decide to proceed, our first full session is a gentle starting point. It鈥檚 not about going into everything at once but about getting to know you 鈥 your background, what鈥檚 been happening recently, and what you鈥檇 like to achieve through therapy. Together, we begin to shape some goals or intentions for our work so that it feels meaningful and focused for you.
Before the first session, I鈥檒l send a brief intake form covering some background details, confidentiality information, and agreement terms. This helps ensure our time together is used effectively and safely.

About me and my therapy practice
I specialise in helping women who struggle with emotional or binge eating, food guilt, and body image concerns to create a calmer, more trusting relationship with food and themselves. My approach is grounded in compassion, evidence-based psychology, and a deep respect for each client鈥檚 lived experience.
I work integratively, combining counselling, CBT-E (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders), and coaching to address both the emotional and practical sides of eating behaviour. Together, we explore what drives cycles of restriction, overeating, or self-criticism, while building emotional regulation skills and self-compassion. This allows clients to step out of 鈥渁ll-or-nothing鈥 patterns and find balance 鈥 with food, body, and life.
Many of my clients are intelligent, capable women who feel frustrated that willpower or dieting hasn鈥檛 worked long-term. My work focuses on helping you understand why, so you can stop blaming yourself and start developing self-trust and emotional freedom.
I also support women using GLP-1 medications such as Ozempic, Wegovy, or Mounjaro, providing a safe therapeutic space to navigate appetite and identity changes with awareness, care, and empowerment. My approach to weight management is ethical and non-stigmatising 鈥 focused on wellbeing, self-worth, and sustainable health rather than numbers on the scale.
I鈥檓 a 麻豆原创-accredited therapeutic coach, Eating Freely practitioner, and nutritional lifestyle coach. My background in CBT, mindfulness, and positive psychology allows me to integrate emotional healing with practical behaviour change.
Above all, my work is about helping you feel at peace with food and your body 鈥 creating space for confidence, connection, and self-compassion to flourish.
Practice description
My practice provides a warm, non-judgemental space for women who want to find peace with food, their bodies, and themselves. I specialise in emotional eating, binge eating, body image difficulties, and ethical, weight-inclusive support for those navigating changes in appetite or weight 鈥 whether naturally, through lifestyle change, or while using GLP-1 medications such as Ozempic, Wegovy, or Mounjaro.
Clients often come to me feeling stuck in cycles of control and guilt around food 鈥 knowing what to do, but unable to sustain it. My role is to help you understand the emotional drivers behind these patterns, regulate your nervous system, and build new, compassionate ways of relating to food and self-care.
Therapy sessions combine evidence-based approaches such as CBT, emotional regulation tools, mindfulness, and self-compassion practices. The work is both reflective and practical: we explore what鈥檚 happening internally while developing clear, realistic strategies for everyday life.
I believe that lasting change happens through understanding, not punishment 鈥 through curiosity, not control. My approach is respectful, collaborative, and empowering, supporting you to reconnect with your body鈥檚 wisdom and build self-trust rather than relying on diets or external rules.
All sessions are held online, offering flexibility and privacy for clients throughout the UK and beyond. I work at your pace, with empathy and structure, helping you create sustainable wellbeing 鈥 free from the constant mental noise about food or weight.
You can expect honesty, kindness, and evidence-based guidance 鈥 a therapeutic partnership focused on helping you feel calm, confident, and back in charge of your relationship with food and yourself.
My first session
I offer a free 20-minute consultation call before beginning therapy or coaching. This gives us both an opportunity to meet, discuss what鈥檚 bringing you to the work, and explore whether my approach feels right for you. You can ask questions and get a sense of how sessions are structured before deciding whether to go ahead.
If you choose to begin, your first full session is a gentle starting point. There鈥檚 no expectation to share everything at once 鈥 instead, we take time to understand your current relationship with food, your goals, and what鈥檚 been making change difficult. Together, we begin to identify the emotional and behavioural patterns you鈥檇 like to shift and what feeling 鈥渇ree鈥 around food might look like for you.
Before the first session, I鈥檒l send a brief intake form outlining confidentiality, boundaries, and background information. This ensures our time together is safe, clear, and focused on your needs.
Many clients describe the first session as a relief 鈥 a chance to pause, speak openly without judgement, and begin making sense of what鈥檚 been happening. You鈥檒l leave with a sense of clarity about next steps and how the process will support you.
Sessions take place online via a secure video platform, allowing you to join from wherever you feel most comfortable. The standard session rate applies from the first full session; the initial consultation is always free and without obligation.
My aim is to make starting this journey feel calm and supported 鈥 the beginning of a compassionate, structured process to help you rebuild trust in yourself, your body, and your relationship with food.
