About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes it doesn't feel possible to work things out on your own. You might be overwhelmed by challenges you are facing in the present or hurt and confused by feelings that are still with you from the past. Or perhaps you feel you are not living your life to its best potential.
Having been through my own therapy, I understand how feeling better can sometimes seem just out of reach—whether it’s to do with relationships, work, or how you feel internally and about yourself.
I believe deeply in our human capacity to heal, grow, and thrive. That belief, coupled with compassion, underpins the way I work with clients.
My approach is integrative, drawing on different theoretical approaches with an emphasis on Attachment and Psychodynamic theories. I’m committed to helping people live authentic and fuller, more connected lives.
I provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space in which to explore your feelings. Through that exploration, I hope to help you find what you need to move forward. I believe that therapy should be transformative and provide a solid base for change and progression. There are times when we all get stuck in our thoughts and need help to push through to new ways of thinking.
I am an experienced counsellor and have worked in GP surgeries and at a London Prison. I work with a wide cross-section of people from different backgrounds and different ideas about what they need from counselling. I treat every client with the same respect, regard and desire to help.
I am a registered and accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and adhere to its ethical code.
I am fully insured and have regular supervision for my work with clients.
Practice description
I originally come from a design background, having studied at Central Saint Martins and worked as a textile designer, creative thinking has always been central to who I am.
Later, after experiencing the profound benefits of therapy myself, I retrained to become a therapist. I've now been in practice for many years, and while my work is grounded in therapeutic training, I still bring a creative and intuitive approach to my work.
My first session
In our first session together we can talk about what has brought you here and what you want from therapy. We can work out what the initial focus might be of our work together and take it from there.
I'm a warm and compassionate person and I hope to provide a space where you feel able to bring anything you need to.

My approach to supervision is compassionate and curious. I believe supervision should be a safe place to explore work with clients and work together to bring creative thought and understanding to your practice.
Supervision sessions with me are supportive, encouraging and non judgemental, focussing on processing the work with clients, supporting you to develop your practice, and upholding ethical principles.
Having worked as a therapist myself for many years I have a wealth of personal experience to offer, I currently supervise both trainees and qualified therapists working in many different environments and services and in private practice.
I trained integratively and have a great respect for different modalities. I work with Attachment, Person Centred, Psychodynamic and TA theories. I am happy to supervise using the theoretical models you are most attuned with.
Please get in touch if you would like to discuss working with me.
About me and my therapy practice
My philosophy for supervision is focussed on compassionate exploration. I hope to help you develop your skills, theoretical knowledge and application, and confidence as a practitioner.
I believe that the supervision space needs to echo the therapeutic space by being open and without judgement. We do our best in a space where we feel safe to fully reflect on our practice, without fear.
