About me and my therapy practice
You don’t need another therapist who just nods and asks how that makes you feel.
You need someone who gets the stuckness – not just the symptoms or problems, but the deeper patterns: emotional overwhelm, self-doubt, numbness, and the retreat into old habits even when they no longer help. A therapist who doesn’t pathologise you, but walks alongside you, helping you unlearn what no longer serves and start building a life that finally feels like yours.
This isn’t therapy that just helps you cope or manage symptoms. It’s work that helps you change – at nervous system level, relational level, habitual level, and meaning-making level.
Through talk and body-based awareness exploration, we get curious together: where did these patterns come from? How did they serve you? And what might life feel like without them?
We don’t stay stuck in the past, but we do make sense of it – so you can move forward with more clarity, more calm, and more connection. I’ll help you build inner resources that work not just in the therapy room, but in your actual life. I integrate talk therapy with body-based (somatic) awareness, emotional integration, and grounded real-life strategies.
Clients often tell me they feel more grounded, more themselves, and more able to engage with life – not just endure it or make-do.
This isn’t surface level fixing. It’s real work. But if you’re ready to feel more like yourself – or to finally discover who that is – I might be the therapist who can actually help you.
I’ve been a therapist for over 15 years. I hold a first-class BSc (hons) Counselling & Psychotherapy degree and have completed advanced training in Somatic Trauma Therapy and Polyvagal Practice.
I work with adults aged 18+, and I offer two main ways of working: Ongoing Therapy (weekly) and Single Session Therapy (one-off or ad-hoc).
Sessions are either online (weekdays and Saturday) using Zoom, or in person at the Birmingham office on Saturday only.
Practice description
Which of these resonate with you the most?
My clients are often intelligent, thoughtful, and hard on themselves – people who’ve read all the self-help, tried to push through, but still feel stuck. Sometimes they don’t know why exactly they’ve come to therapy. Sometimes they know all too well. What they do all know is: what they’ve been doing isn’t working anymore.
You might show up numb, anxious, overthinking everything, or stuck in habits that utterly misalign with the life you do want. You might feel emotionally overwhelmed or shut down entirely. You might not even be sure what you feel at all.
Something might have been going on forever, or be recent.
That’s okay.
Therapy with me is grounded, collaborative, paced to your nervous system. We don’t just talk – we notice. What’s happening in your body, your breath, your posture. Those small cues that can tell us what’s been stored there for sometimes years. We integrate that awareness gently – with meaning making, curiosity, and oodles of compassion.
I’m not a blank-slate therapist and I won’t just sit quietly while you struggle to fill the space. I bring myself to the work – alongside you as we track the old patterns and find out what’s possible beyond them.
We’ll focus not only on healing the past, but creating a future that feels good to live in. Not a future you can endure with less pain, but a future you engage with fully – with purpose, with meaning, with happiness – in your relationships, your work, and with yourself.
Whether you’re looking for a one-off session to clarity on something specific or you’re committed to longer-term work for deeper change, I offer both flexibility and depth.
My first session
Whether you’re looking for a one-off session or something longer-term, your first session is about helping you feel seen, heard, and a little less stuck.
There are two different ways of working, so two different ways to begin:
1. Single Session Therapy
This is a flexible option, whether you want a one-off session or prefer therapy on an ad-hoc basis (anything less regular than weekly). Sessions are 50 or 90 minutes long, and after booking I’ll send you a short questionnaire – it helps you get clarity, and helps me tailor the session to what you need. You can skip it, but the session might be a little less focused without it. There’s no assessment, no paperwork – just one focused session to help you move forward.
2. Ongoing Therapy – starts with a Deep Dive Consult
This is a 50-minute assessment session where we explore your history, what’s brought you’re here, and what you’d like things to look like going forward. It’s not a deep trauma excavation – it’s a strengths-based, forward-looking conversation. We get a feel for whether we’re the right fit, and we begin to think about how the work could be tailored specifically for you. Cost of £95 (same as a Single Session). After that, Ongoing Therapy sessions are weekly, at a discounted rate of £80.
Free 15-minute phone consult
If you’re unsure and would like a quick chat before booking you’re welcome to book a free 15-minute phone consult. No pressure – just clarity.

About me and my therapy practice
You don’t need a supervisor who just ticks the boxes and signs off your hours.
You need someone who sees you - the whole of you - not just as a practitioner but as a human being doing deeply relational work in a complex world.
I bring over 15 years of experience as a therapist and hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Supervision (2020). My own therapeutic work is integrative and relational, with additional training in Somatic Trauma Therapy (Babette Rothschild) and Polyvagal Theory (Deb Dana). As a supervisor, I support professionals working with adults (18+) in similar modalities.
Supervision with me is collaborative, honest, and real. It’s a space where you can think, feel, wonder, struggle, laugh, and grow. Whether you're newly qualified or deeply seasoned, I tailor our work together to reflect both your strengths and your growing edges - integrating professional development, ethical reflection, emotional support, and real-life context.
I don’t believe in a ‘blank slate’ supervisory role. I show up - with curiosity, compassion, and a grounded presence. Together, we explore what your client work evokes in you, how your personal history shapes your clinical instincts, and how to grow your practice in a way that feels sustainable and meaningful.
If you want supervision that nourishes your work and your whole self, I might be the right fit for you.
Practice description
Supervision with me is grounded, relational, and integrative. I don’t see it as a box-ticking exercise, but as a real space for reflection, challenge, and professional development. I work best with supervisees who are curious, thoughtful, and open to growth - whether you’re newly qualified, in training, or well into your professional journey.
Our work together is a collaborative process - not just clinical case management, but an exploration of the deeper dynamics that emerge in the therapy room and in your role as a practitioner. We might explore theory and technique, but just as often we’ll consider your own process, how your personal history might interact with your clinical work, and how to strengthen your confidence, ethical clarity, and professional identity over time.
Supervisees often tell me they feel more confident in their instincts, more grounded in their identity as a therapist, and more willing to bring their whole self into the room — even the messy parts. They feel seen, supported, and respectfully challenged to grow in the direction that’s most theirs.
I offer online supervision during the week and in-person sessions on Saturdays (Birmingham). Whether you're looking for monthly sessions, ad-hoc support, or group supervision, we can tailor the format to suit your needs and stage of practice.
And if you ever find yourself needing support outside our usual session times - such as navigating an urgent client issue - you're welcome to contact me and we can arrange a time to speak by phone. You're not alone in those moments.
My first session
Supervision with me begins with a 60-minute Chemistry Session - a space for us both to get a feel for how we work together. You’re welcome to bring a piece of client work, but it’s just as valuable to use the time exploring what you want from supervision, how you learn best, and whether we’re a good fit.
This isn’t an interview, and there’s no pressure to decide immediately. The aim is to co-create a working relationship that feels useful, honest, and tailored to you. If it feels like the right fit, we’ll agree a contract for ongoing work that supports your professional body’s requirements and your own development goals.
I work with qualified therapists and trainees, online during the week and in-person sessions on Saturdays (in Birmingham). Most supervisees choose monthly 90-minute sessions, but we can adapt the frequency and length to suit your needs and requirements - including group supervision options.
If you need supervision that makes space for your whole self, that weaves together clinical, relational, ethical and emotional threads - this might be a very good place to start.
If you’d like a quick chat before booking, you’re welcome to book a free 15-minute phone consult. No pressure — just clarity.
You can book the Chemistry Session and/or the Phone Consult directly via my website.
