Do you feel stressed, overwhelmed, don't know where to turn?
Counselling & psychotherapy is the provision of a special relationship with a trained person, who will help you to explore difficulties and problems in your life. Many people find that talking things through with someone trained to listen and support leaves them less confused and better able to make the changes they need to improve the quality of their lives. Therapy helps if you want to learn to relate more easily to others or simply want to live life more fully. I offer support with personal, social, educational or professional challenges that are difficult to face alone.
I have more than 15 years experience of working in the NHS and private sectors.
Practice description
My practice is influenced by my professional and personal background. Since gaining my diploma in Humanistic Person-Centred Counselling in 2014, I have worked at the mental health charity, Mind; in 2 NHS Talking Therapy Services, and in private practice. This experience has enriched my understanding of the profound impact emotional support can make in healing and in recovery. I have worked with clients from diverse backgrounds and with a large range of conditions. I will listen to your story with compassion, and I have keen sensitivity to each client's cultural, spiritual, and personal background, ensuring a holistic path to wellness. I also love music which for me has a healing power and I enjoy teaching and playing the violin.
Since the year 2017 I have been an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I adhere to their code of ethics. Like all professional therapists I am supervised and undertake training to enhance my practice.

I currently have some availability during working hours 9-5 and evenings 5-8pm.About me and my therapy practice
I am a Person Centred and Integrative Clinical Supervisor and Psychotherapist.
My key supervision training and approach uses CFD supervision, which refers to Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE-CfD) Supervision. This involves using my wealth of experience to guide counsellors and psychotherapists in delivering evidence-based therapies within the NHS and private practice, focusing on building your skills, collaboration, ethical practice, and professional development to ensure effective, client-focused treatment. It's about supporting you to help your clients explore and make new meanings from their emotions and life experiences, especially within a time-limited context.
I have more than 15 years experience of working in the NHS and private sectors.
