About me and my therapy practice
My practice draws on our growing understanding of how our minds and brains are shaped, and how therapy can help us thrive, change our minds, brains, and relationships with others and with ourselves. My foundation is Person-centred. I am pluralistic - together we explore what you are looking for in therapy, how we might work together, and what ways of working resonate with you. This is generally an evolving process. Mindfulness, Compassion-focused therapy (CFT), and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) are a part of my work. I have been in practice since 1996. My experience includes 9yrs counselling within NHS Primary Care, and more than 21 yrs in private practice.
Practice description
I will offer you the choice of working with me in person in my therapy room in Hest Bank, Lancaster or working with me online, or you can choose a mix of these - some sessions online and some in person.
