About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome - I am an accredited counsellor and currently run a private practice online for individuals anywhere in the UK. I also see clients face to face in the Bedford area.
Whether you have a here and now problem you'd like to talk through, or are wishing to explore issues that are rooted earlier in your life, I offer a safe, accepting, non-judgemental and confidential space for you to be heard and seen.
If you are feeling anxious, depressed, stuck, low, foggy, confused, sad, lost, despairing or feel fearful or as though you have little agency in your own life, we can talk and think about these feelings together.
My approach is integrative including attachment theory, somatic work, parts work and trauma informed. By working together and gaining an understanding of your needs I will draw on these different approaches to help you gain new perspectives.
I have a life-long interest in how we humans relate to one another. What’s important to me is to help you help yourself towards a greater understanding of self, others and the world.

About me and my therapy practice
Hello - I am an accredited Â鶹Դ´ counsellor and currently run a private practice online for individuals anywhere in the UK and face to face in the Bedford area.
Whether you have a here and now problem you'd like to talk through, or are wishing to explore issues that are rooted earlier in your life, I offer a space where you will be heard with acceptance and no judgement.
If you have experienced a loss or are feeling anxious, depressed, stuck, low, foggy, disappointed in people, confused, sad, lost, despairing or feel fearful or as though you have little agency in your own life, we can talk and think about these feelings together.
My approach is integrative and person-centred. Some of the methods and theories I incorporate in the work include attachment theory, somatic work, parts work, mindfulness and trauma informed thinking.
I've been in practice for 14 years and have a life-long interest in how we humans relate to one another. What’s important to me is to help you help yourself towards a greater understanding of self, others and the world.
I have worked in schools with children, parents, staff and outside agencies. I have worked for a bereavement charity and with local councils. Four years ago I decided to create my own private practice working with adults from 20 years to 80 years.
I have lived experience with supporting family members who have mental health issues including recovering from alcohol abuse, ADHD, PMDD (pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder - an extreme form of PMT which can have serious impacts on relationships and well-being)
I feel constantly inspired by the people I work with.
Practice description
My practice is person-centred - another way of saying I am client-led, what you bring to the session is what we work with at your own pace.
I believe you are the expert on yourself. The person-centred approach means that we work together thinking about your feelings, thoughts and behaviours. Having a safe space where you can explore and feel accepted without judgement can be a powerful experience and help you towards making the changes you would like to see in your life and relationships. You are in fact, your own healer. Having someone alongside you helps you gain clarity and a stronger sense of self.
I offer long or short term therapy online anywhere in the UK or face to face in Bedford.
My first session
If any of this resonates with you, please get in touch. I offer a free of charge initial Zoom call, usually lasting around 15 - 20 minutes. It is an opportunity for you to discuss your needs and to get a sense of whether we will work well together and for you to ask any questions you may have.
In our first session we will discuss your aims for the counselling and how we might go about working towards these.
If you decide to go ahead with a session, these are fifty minutes in duration. Therapy works best when the sessions are on a weekly basis, particularly in the early stages. If you need flexibility in session days and times we can discuss this early on.
