I appreciate it may be difficult to seek counselling at emotionally difficult times, which coincide with life events such as marriage, divorce work-related concerns, childbirth, bereavement loss and stress. I offer a friendly, approachable, and experience in many areas, including anxiety, and depression. I offer a supportive, safe, and confidential setting, in which you can gain an understanding of yourself and explore the challenges in life. My work is to establish a rapport with my client so that they feel at ease enough to talk freely about their concerns and between us become aware of your thoughts and feelings that may have been suppressed and try to identify coping mechanisms in order to resolve them.
I work with your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours in a professional, safe and a confidential environment. To help you to explore your experiences, through guided conversation and various techniques to help you gain self awareness and to develop coping mechanisms for positive change in your life.

On the first session, I would welcome you and introduction myself and explain the therapeutic process, we would then move on to discussing your reason for seeking therapy. I will explain confidentiality and review any necessary paper or concerns.
