About me and my therapy practice
I try to create the conditions for you to deepen your relationship with yourself and the world around you.
In part, that looks like paying close attention to your feelings and how you respond to them.
It also involves looking at how you make sense of the world.
Whatever we discover, I try to place it in the context of your wider world – not only personal, but also social, political, historical and economic context – making possible a fuller, more connected understanding of yourself.
I see this practice of self-relationship as worth pursuing for its own sake. And also this work can be a means of facing specific problems in front of you now.
My first session
In the first session I talk about confidentiality, fees, breaks and absences and ask about what's bringing you to therapy. It's also a chance for us to get a sense of if we want to work together, although sometimes that takes more time to figure out. I charge the same amount for all sessions. If you're not ready to have a session, and still want some basic information, I'm very happy to have a short chat.
What I can help with
Anxiety, Cultural issues, Loss, Men's issues, Personal development, Relationships, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Spirituality, Stress, Work related issues
Types of therapy
Existential, Phenomenological
Clients I work with
Adults, Couples, Young people
How I deliver therapy

About me and my therapy practice
I’ve been practising psychotherapy for around 15 years, with a consistent focus on integrating critical and systemic perspectives with warmth, humanity and open, supportive exploration.
Alongside my clinical work—which has included time in the NHS, lecturing at Regent’s University and couples therapy with Relate—I’ve also been active in gender justice, anti-racist facilitation, and transformative justice spaces in collaboration with activists and community organisers.
Currently, I’m pursuing an MA in Caribbean Cultural Studies and have a special interest in supporting queer, non-monogamous and sex-positive communities in my work.
All of this speaks to what I’m committed to: creating therapeutic spaces where the personal and the political are both recognised and valued. If you’re looking for a therapist who can hold your experience as shaped by larger systems as well as by your own story—someone who sees those layers as interconnected—I hope you’ll feel that there’s room here for you.
