About me and my therapy practice
馃 About Me
I鈥檓 an accredited counsellor with a strong track record of supporting individuals to explore personal challenges and discover meaningful solutions. My practice is rooted in the person-centred approach, offering a safe, non-judgmental space where we can reflect together. Confidentiality is central to our work, with exceptions only where required by law.
馃搷 Location & Clients
Based in Oldham, I work with clients across Greater Manchester and beyond. I primarily support adults and young people, tailoring sessions to meet individual needs and preferences.
馃彞 Experience
I bring experience from a range of settings, including the NHS, non-profit organisations, higher education, and the justice sector. This diverse background allows me to connect with people from all walks of life and understand the unique pressures they may face.
馃栈锔 My Approach
I take a non-directive stance, meaning you鈥檒l be actively involved in shaping how we explore your concerns. I鈥檒l walk alongside you, offering guidance while respecting your autonomy and pace.
馃洜锔 Therapeutic Tools
In addition to person-centred counselling, I鈥檓 trained in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and solution-focused practice (SFP). These approaches offer practical tools to help shift unhelpful thinking patterns and promote healthier behaviours.
Practice description
I use private comfortable therapy rooms in Manchester city centre for face to face appointments.
Initial introductory calls are available where you can find out more about booking counselling appointments, what time of day you prefer and what it may be like working with me.
Please get in touch if you would like to book an initial introductory call.
