About me and my therapy practice

Welcome:) I am a Â鶹ԭ´´ registered and accredited counsellor/psychotherapist working in the Liphook area, close to the Surrey/West Sussex border.  In addition, I am an Ofsted registered Adoption counsellor with Barnardo's (supplier number 75983) and work with individuals, couples and young people.

I use an integrative approach, along with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness, which focuses primarily on the relationship between client and therapist. This is built around trust, respect, safety and empowerment. Kindness and compassion are fundamental.  I am also trained and qualified in EMDR therapy which is an effective method and NICE approved way of working with trauma.  My work is client led as only you know how you feel.

About me and my therapy practice

As an experienced Â鶹ԭ´´ Accredited Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a Post-Qualification Diploma in Counselling Supervision, I offer supervision to trainee counsellors, newly qualified therapists, and experienced practitioners.

Supervision is a vital part of ethical and effective counselling practice. It provides a reflective space where counsellors can explore their work, deepen their understanding, and continue to grow both personally and professionally.

Practice description

My Approach to Supervision

I draw on Hawkins and Shohet’s Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision (1989), Mazzetti (2001) and Charnock (2007) which allows us to explore client work from multiple perspectives. This model encourages reflection not only on the client’s process, but also on the counsellor’s responses, the dynamics within the therapeutic relationship, and the wider contexts that may influence the work.

Like therapy, the supervisory relationship is central to the success of our work together. I aim to provide a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where you feel able to bring both your challenges and successes. Alongside offering support, I believe in the value of gentle challenge, helping you to reflect more deeply and broaden your perspective.

Who I Work With

Trainee Counsellors - offering support, guidance, and a safe space to develop confidence and skills.

Newly Qualified Therapists - helping you to navigate the transition into independent practice.

Experienced Practitioners - providing a reflective and collaborative space to sustain and enrich your ongoing practice.

What You Can Expect

A collaborative and respectful relationship

Space to reflect on both your client work and your development as a practitioner

Attention to ethical and professional considerations

Support in building confidence and resilience

Encouragement to explore new perspectives and ways of working
