Availability

I currently have availability for new couples and offer a mix of online and in-person sessions.

On Mondays, I offer both in-person and online appointments.

All other sessions during the week are held online.

I offer weekday daytime and early evening appointments and will work with you to find a time that feels manageable for both of you. If you have specific scheduling needs, please let me know, and I will do my best to accommodate different routines and work patterns. Intensive sessions are available at weekends.

If I have any planned time away from practice, I’ll always let you know well in advance so we can maintain a sense of continuity and support.

About me and my therapy practice

Are you and your partner feeling stuck in recurring conflict, distance or confusion about what the future holds? Perhaps communication has become strained, intimacy feels harder to reach, or you’re questioning whether the relationship can continue. Many midlife and long-term couples face these challenges, and they rarely improve without support.

With over 13 years’ experience working with couples, I help partners slow down, understand what’s really happening between them, and create space for clearer communication, emotional safety and deeper understanding.

Couples Counselling

In weekly sessions, we explore the patterns that keep you stuck — whether that’s criticism, withdrawal, high conflict or unresolved hurt. I help you rebuild trust, navigate difficult conversations, and reconnect in ways that feel authentic to both of you. My approach supports each partner to stay true to themselves while strengthening the relationship.

Discernment Counselling

For couples uncertain about staying together, Discernment Counselling offers a brief, structured process to gain clarity. We look at the roots of your struggles, each person’s role, and the realistic paths forward. Whether you choose to repair the relationship or separate with respect, the aim is clarity, not pressure.

Intensives for Busy Couples

For those with limited availability, I offer focused, immersive sessions to work deeply on your relationship in a shorter timeframe.

If you’re ready to move out of confusion and into clearer, more connected ways of relating, I’m here to help. Please get in touch to arrange a first session.

Practice description

My role is to offer a calm, steady space where you and your partner can explore what’s happening between you without blame or pressure. I have extensive experience helping couples navigate entrenched patterns, high conflict, emotional distance and the impact of past trauma.

As a dual-qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor and coach, I support you both on a relational and individual level. Together, we explore the conscious and unconscious beliefs shaping your interactions, while developing the practical skills needed to create meaningful change.

Couples therapy isn’t a quick fix. It’s a space for insight, honesty and growth, and for building a relationship that feels resilient, healthy and connected.

I offer sessions online and in-person at Pimlico Counselling Rooms, 6a Bessborough Place

My first session

I offer a free 15-minute phone or Zoom consultation so you can get a sense of me, my approach, and whether this feels like the right space for you as a couple. This first conversation is simply an opportunity to talk through what brings you here and to explore what support might look like. There’s no pressure to commit.

You can book this consultation easily through my online scheduler, and you’ll receive a direct link with available times. These slots are held especially for new couples, so you can choose a moment that feels comfortable. If we decide to move forward together, we’ll then arrange ongoing session times that suit both of you.

When we begin couples counselling, the first five sessions include a mix of joint time and individual conversations. This helps each of you feel heard in your own voice and gives me a clearer picture of how the two of you relate. After this initial stage, we meet together for all ongoing sessions.

Couples sessions are a minimum of 75 minutes and take place weekly. The extended time allows us to slow the pace, reduce pressure, and make room for reflection, understanding and meaningful change. It’s important to me that sessions feel spacious and safe enough for both of you to speak openly.

This introductory process is designed to support you gently into the work, help us build trust, and create a clear sense of direction for your relationship. My aim is for your first steps into counselling to feel calm, supportive and grounded.
