About me and my therapy practice
When we are experiencing hard times it can be incredibly daunting to take those first steps towards help and support. This is where counselling, psychotherapy or 'talking therapies' may be able to help.
My aim is to provide you with a professional, confidential service in a safe, calm and compassionate environment. Here I can help you to fully explore your experiences and difficulties, identify what you would like instead and the options available to you to reach your goals so that you may live a happier and more fulfilled life.
I am a friendly and approachable counsellor/supervisor with 15 years of extensive experience working with adults, children and young people, couples and groups.
I primarily utilise Transactional Analysis psychotherapy integrated with different techniques from my continuing professional development. I am an accredited and registered member of the UKCP and a registered member of the Â鶹Դ´.
I have daytime and evening appointments available over the short or long term to suit your individual needs. I can offer face to face or online via Zoom. I offer a free no-obligation phone call to answer any questions that you may have.
Thank you for reading me profile. Please contact me by phone or email with any questions and/or to book an initial session.
Practice description
I am accredited and registered as a full clinical member of the UKCP (Feb 2024) and Registered Member of the Â鶹Դ´ (2011). Both registers are accredited by the Professionals Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.

In order to maintain and develop my practice I receive regular supervision, have an up to date clinical will, attend ongoing personal therapy and attend continuing professional development training events.
I have full and comprehensive indemnity insurance with Oxygen and as an integral part of my practice, I have developed and am happy to share the following policies - Anti-discrimination and Equality, Complaints, Privacy & Confidentiality, Safeguarding and Use of AI Policy.

About me and my therapy practice
I currently provide clinical supervision for trainee and qualified counsellors/psychotherapists, mental health workers and others working with adults and CYP's (11-18 yrs). I gained my Certificate in Supervision (December 2016) from the Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy, Chorlton.
I am a UKCP Accredited and registered TA Psychotherapist and a Registered Member of the Â鶹Դ´.
I offer a humanistic and integrative supervisory approach informed by Â鶹Դ´ Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions 2018. My aim is to enable a respectful and collaborative supervisory relationship to facilitate continuing professional growth and development for all.
I think that this quote from Hawkins & Shohet(1989) explains what to expect from good supervision:-
'Supervision is a joint endeavor in which a practitioner with the help of the supervisor, attends to their clients, themselves as part of their client practitioner relationships and the wider systemic context, and by so doing improves the quality of their work, transforms the client relationships, continuously develops themselves, their practice and the wider profession.'
I can offer a free phone call / zoom call to explore the possibility of working together. Please do contact me further for more info.
