About me and my therapy practice
Counselling and Psychotherapy in Holloway, London and online
Long-term open-ended psychodynamic psychotherapy and short-term counselling for adults of all backgrounds.
I work by providing a safe, confidential space in which to begin a conversation about the issues that are really affecting you.
Whether you are feeling anxious, depressed or confused, or have the sense that you don't know what your feelings are, counselling and psychotherapy can help.
I am a Registered Senior Accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MÂ鶹Դ´ Snr Accred) and work according to their Ethical Guidelines. I am also a Registered Member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC).

Practice description
I trained in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy at Birkbeck, University of London and prior to this, studied Person-Centred Counselling.
My approach to therapy is relational. This means I work to build a boundaried therapeutic relationship with my clients, in which we can think together about their feelings and experiences and the relationships in their lives, both now and in the past.
Choosing to begin therapy is an important moment. It is a step in the process of change, which can be an exciting and deeply fulfilling experience. We don't know what we will discover as we begin to try to understand ourselves better.
Sometimes people decide to come for therapy to help them through a particularly difficult time in their lives, after a relationship breaks down, or following the loss of a loved one. Others might come in the hope of making sense of difficult feelings that don't seem to be connected to a particular crisis.
Therapy can provide a fresh perspective on your issues, help you to understand what lies beneath them and can help you to break unhelpful patterns of behaviour. It is a collaborative process where we will work together to understand you.
