I appreciate that finding a time that works for you isn’t always straightforward, so I am also happy to discuss alternative times where possible.

About me and my therapy practice

I believe no two human experiences are ever the same. Each of us is shaped by our own unique ontology - our histories, relationships, environments and the meaning we make of them. Your experience cannot be replicated, and so the person you invite into that experience should be able to meet you where you are and offer something truly bespoke to you.

This belief underpins the way I work. Rather than asking you to fit into a particular model or way of working, I tailor our approach around your needs, empowering you to remain the expert in your own experience and placing the relationship at the centre of our work together.

A core principle that informs my work is the idea that our experience is shaped across four interconnected spaces: Mind, Body, Soul and Environment. It is within the intersection of these four spaces that we can begin to make sense of the whole picture - finding clarity amongst the complexity, and meaning within the story of your life.

Our work together will therefore be dynamic and co-creative, continually evolving as you do. My hope is that, over time, our work cultivates not only greater understanding, but a deeper sense of autonomy, emotional intelligence and relational competence.

Practice description

My work as an integrative neuroscience-informed psychotherapist allows me to tailor our therapeutic relationship in a way that honours your unique experience and the way you move through the world.

My training in Neuroscience and Psychology gives me an in-depth understanding of the ways in which the brain, body and mind continuously interact to shape our perceptions, emotions and experience of life. Alongside this, I have a particular interest in mindfulness and in exploring how it might support our work together - though I recognise that it is not the right fit for everyone.

I draw upon a wide range of therapeutic techniques, but rather than prescribing a particular way of working, I invite you into the process of discovering what feels useful, what doesn't, and why. I see therapy a little like a book: together, we can slow down enough to read the chapters that have brought you here, understand the narratives that have shaped you, and begin to consider what you might want the next chapter to look like.

My first session

We will begin with an initial 20-minute introductory call, giving us an opportunity to get a sense of one another and consider whether we might be a good fit. The aim is simply to establish a brief sense of who we are, what has brought you to therapy, and what working together might look like.

Following our introductory call, we can then move into our first session. I won’t be overly prescriptive about how this session should unfold, as I believe your first session should be as individual as you are. We will, however, work through a series of more structured questions to provide a foundation for our work together and begin to understand what feels most important for us to explore.
