About me and my therapy practice

I provide specialist integrative psychotherapy for adults living with bipolar disorder, adult ADHD and addiction. I work from Harley Street, London and online throughout the UK, with a particular interest in emotional regulation, identity, relationships and living well with complex mental health difficulties. I am a Â鶹ԭ´´ Registered Member (MÂ鶹ԭ´´).

These experiences often overlap, and I recognise the complex ways that mood, attention, impulsivity and coping strategies can influence one another. Whether you have recently received a diagnosis, have lived with these difficulties for many years, or are looking for specialist support, I offer a collaborative and compassionate therapeutic relationship in which we can explore your unique experience together.

My approach is integrative, informed by contemporary psychotherapy and strongly influenced by existential thinking. I believe that while diagnoses can provide valuable understanding, they do not define who you are. Therapy can offer a space to explore not only the difficulties you face, but also your values, relationships, identity and the kind of life you want to build.

Before training as a therapist, I spent more than twenty years working in the film industry. This experience gave me a particular understanding of creative and high-pressure professional environments, including their intensity, uncertainty, long hours and changing demands. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and have a particular interest in supporting people working in creative industries.

Practice description

Therapy can be a space to understand yourself more deeply, develop greater emotional stability and explore what you want your life to look like beyond your diagnosis. I work collaboratively and at a pace that reflects your individual needs, combining psychological understanding with attention to identity, relationships, values and meaning.

Alongside my professional training and clinical experience, I also bring lived experience of bipolar disorder, ADHD and addiction. This has given me a deeply informed understanding of some of the challenges these experiences can bring, as well as the possibility of living a meaningful and fulfilling life alongside them.

I recognise that everyone's experience is different, and I never assume that my own experience is the same as a client's. Instead, I bring this perspective with openness, empathy and appropriate professional boundaries, alongside my clinical training and ongoing professional development.

If you would like to explore whether we might be a good fit, I invite you to get in touch to arrange an initial consultation. This is an opportunity for us to discuss what has brought you to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and consider how we might work together.

My first session

I offer a complimentary 20-minute introductory consultation by phone or video before arranging an initial therapy session. This is an opportunity to briefly discuss what has brought you to therapy, what you are looking for, and whether I may be the right therapist for you. There is no obligation to continue.

If we decide to work together, our first 50-minute therapy session provides space to begin exploring your current concerns, your background and what you would like to work towards. We can also discuss how I work and what you might find helpful from therapy.

For clients with a more complex history involving bipolar disorder, ADHD, addiction, previous diagnoses or overlapping difficulties, I also offer a 90-minute extended initial consultation (£210). This provides additional time to explore your history and current circumstances in greater depth and to think together about the most appropriate therapeutic approach.

I work collaboratively and at a pace that respects your individual circumstances. You do not need to have everything worked out before coming to therapy.
