About me and my therapy practice
I completed an MA in contemporary relationship studies, to allow me to follow my passion to help others understand and improve their daily human connections. I aim to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for the exploration of personal and relational challenges. Through individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy I help people to understand and navigate the necessary changes for issue resolution and growth in their lives.
Practice description
My trauma-informed, integrative approach incorporates various modalities including systemic theory, psychodynamic therapy, person-centred therapy, emotion focused therapy (EFT) and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), allowing me to tailor the sessions to your specific needs and working together to meet your therapeutic goals.
In my couples therapy and individual therapy, I specialise in working with neurodiversity (ASD/ADHD), anxiety, attachment concerns, individual trauma, relational trauma, sexual issues, in particular compulsive sexual behaviours (CSB), and intimacy challenges. I support those navigating pregnancy, the post natal period and work with anxiety, loss and bereavement.
I am a gender, sex and relationship diversity (GSRD), kink and BDSM friendly therapist. I work in-person from Sheffield S11 and S1, and on-line.
My current study is enabling me to help those with compulsive sexual behaviour (CSB), sometimes known as love addiction, porn addiction or sex addiction. CSB therapy is a confidential, evidence-based form of support designed to help individuals regain control over sexual thoughts and behaviours that feel difficult to manage. Recognised in clinical frameworks such as those from the World Health Organization, CSB can impact relationships, wellbeing, and daily life.
