About me and my therapy practice

I’m Nicki, an MÂ鶹ԭ´´ registered Integrative Therapist offering online counselling across Pembrokeshire and the UK. I provide a calm, steady space where you can slow down and explore what feels difficult or confusing, including the parts of your experience that may feel hard to look at. Therapy can be challenging, and you’ll be met with a safe, secure, and consistent relationship as we work through it together.

My practice is Humanistic Integrative, grounded in Person‑Centred foundations and informed by Gestalt, Existential, attachment‑based and psychodynamic perspectives. I also offer creative ways of working, including Sandtray work.

This means we pay attention to your thoughts, feelings, and relational patterns in the present moment, while also understanding how early experiences may shape the ways you protect yourself or connect with others today. Together, we explore what’s happening for you right now and how it affects your emotional world, relationships, and sense of self.

Attachment‑based work helps us understand how your nervous system responds to stress, closeness, conflict, or uncertainty. If you’ve ever felt anxious, shut down, or triggered without knowing why, this approach can help you recognise these responses and develop steadier ways to feel safe and connected.

This integrative way of working can be helpful for anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, low self‑esteem, or anyone seeking greater clarity and emotional balance.

Each session moves at a pace that feels right for you. You’ll be met with compassion, respect, and a grounded therapeutic relationship as we work toward understanding, stability, and change.

Practice description

My practice is called Thallo Therapy. Thallo refers to the earliest sign of spring, a quiet indication that growth is possible.

Therapy offers a different kind of beginning: a reliable, attuned relationship where new patterns can take shape. Thallo reflects this steady, supported growth with small shifts that root themselves over time into something more grounded and sustainable.

Reaching out for support can feel daunting, especially if you’re unsure what to expect or if past experiences have made you hesitant.

When you contact me, there’s no pressure. We simply explore what you need and whether working together feels like the right fit.

My first session

Your first session will be a continuation of our initial consultation call/assessment.  It’s an opportunity to gather more information in order to build a picture of your situation, but also for us to discuss your expectations and goals for therapy, answer any questions you may have and for you to gauge how you feel about collaboratively working together on your therapeutic journey.
