Availability
I currently have availability for online and telephone counselling sessions for adults across the UK. I offer daytime and limited evening appointments, with some flexibility for people who work shifts or have irregular routines. Out‑of‑hours sessions may be available on request.
My practice is designed to be accessible, especially for people who find it difficult to attend in‑person therapy or who prefer the privacy and comfort of working from home. Sessions are weekly unless we agree otherwise, and we will work at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.
I take planned time off throughout the year and will always give you advance notice so we can prepare together.
If you’re unsure whether now is the right time to start therapy, I’m happy to offer a brief initial conversation so you can get a sense of how I work and what you might need.
About me and my therapy practice
I’m a psychotherapist and integrative counsellor, but before any of that, I’m a human being who knows what it’s like to carry things quietly and keep going anyway. My work is shaped as much by life experience as by training. I’ve spent years in the military, engineering and frontline support roles, working with people in pressure, crisis and transition. It taught me that everyone has a story, and most people are doing the best they can with what they’ve lived through.
In therapy, I offer a steady, grounded space where you don’t have to perform or hold everything together. You can show up exactly as you are unsure, overwhelmed, numb, angry, hopeful, or somewhere in between. We take things at your pace, building safety and trust so you can explore what’s been happening beneath the surface.
I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, identity struggles, loss, emotional shutdown and long periods of coping alone. My approach is relational and collaborative: we figure things out together, not from a script or a set of techniques, but from real conversation and connection.
I offer online and telephone sessions for adults across the UK and work within the Â鶹Դ´ Ethical Framework.
Practice description
BlackSheep Wellbeing is a calm, steady space for adults who want to understand themselves better, make sense of what they’re carrying, and feel more grounded in their day‑to‑day life. My practice is built on the belief that therapy works best when you feel safe, respected and not judged for how you’ve coped or who you’ve had to be.
Sessions are collaborative and paced around you. Some people come wanting to talk through specific experiences; others arrive feeling stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected without knowing exactly why. You don’t need to have the right words or a clear story. We take our time, follow what feels important, and work gently with whatever comes up.
I draw on integrative and trauma‑informed approaches, but I don’t expect you to fit a model. Instead, we focus on building safety, regulation and a stronger sense of self so you can explore your experiences without becoming overwhelmed.
My background in the military, engineering and frontline support roles means I’m used to working with people who’ve lived through pressure, responsibility or difficult situations that changed them. I bring a grounded, real‑world understanding to the work, alongside professional training and ongoing development.
I offer online and telephone sessions for adults across the UK. Therapy with me is honest, steady and human a space where you don’t have to hold everything together.
My first session
Choosing a therapist isn’t easy. You’re letting someone into parts of your life you’ve probably carried alone for a long time, so the fit has to feel right. The first session is a free 20 minute chat where we see if there’s a genuine connection; no pressure, no deep dive, no expectations. You’re the one doing the work, so you need someone who feels solid, safe and real for you. That might be me, or it might not. This space is simply for you to get a sense of who I am, how I work, and whether it feels like a place you can show up as yourself.
