About me and my therapy practice
I offer connection, compassion and care.
Meeting you as you are, beyond roles, expectations, or appearances.
Understanding you within your own frame of reference.
Holding the relationship with consistency, respect, and professional responsibility.
Practice description
I am a fully qualified humanistic counsellor, registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (Â鶹Դ´) and committed to offering a confidential and ethical service.
I offer individual counselling sessions for people aged 16 and over. I welcome neurotypical and neurodiverse clients, as well as individuals from all cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities.
I have experience working with both adolescents and adults in private counselling, charity organisations and education, with a particular interest in supporting individuals affected by addiction.
My approach to counselling is informed by Transactional Analysis, which is based on the belief that everyone has worth, the capacity to think for themselves, and the potential for growth and positive change when supported in an encouraging, accepting, and respectful environment.
Alongside my professional training, life experience has deeply informed my sense of compassion and understanding of the challenges people can face.
I engage in regular supervision and training to support my knowledge and professional development. I am fully insured and hold an enhanced DBS certificate.
I operate from comfortable rooms in both Eastleigh and Winchester or can work online. Contact me to find out more and to arrange a suitable appointment.
My first session
It is really important to find the right counsellor for you. Every counsellor is different, so for that reason I offer a free initial session (either in person or online depending on availability).
This session gives us the opportunity to meet and find out more about each other. You can get a feel for me, ask any questions you may have about the counselling process, and decide whether you'd like to continue, with no obligation.
After the initial free session, I charge £50 per session face to face and £40 per session online.
