About me and my therapy practice

I have over two years of experience as a counsellor and I have worked with three separate organisations during this time. This also includes working with children and young people (11 + and young adults. ) I have worked in supporting young people with family dynamics, identity development, abuse, grief and trauma.

I work with a holistic and flexible approach, drawing from psychodynamic approaches, transpersonal, and person-centred theories, grounded in an understanding of each person’s lived experience. My practice recognises that everyone is unique, and I tailor therapy to the individual.

I can also include interactive therapeutic interventions during our online sessions, if needed.

Counselling can benefit anyone who is feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply in need of support. It may be particularly helpful for people experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship difficulties, grief, trauma, traumatic events and past experiences, life transitions, or challenges with self-esteem. Counselling is also valuable for those seeking personal growth, greater self-understanding, and healthier ways of coping — even if there isn’t a specific crisis or diagnosis.

I offer a reflective and compassionate approach where clients can explore their inner world, relationships, patterns, and meaning. My psychodynamic perspective supports a deeper insight into unconscious processes and my person-centred foundation ensures empathy, authenticity and respect. I also integrate transpersonal perspectives where appropriate, allowing room for questions of purpose, identity, and spiritual or existential experience.

I am committed to inclusivity, equality, and diversity, and I welcome clients from all backgrounds, identities, and experiences. I strive to create a respectful and affirming therapeutic environment where difference is valued and each person feels seen and heard.

Practice description

I offer online counselling Monday to Friday including evenings. People who may benefit from online counselling include those who need convenience and can attend sessions from home or any private space. Those who require flexibility around work, parenting, commitments or shift patterns. There will be no travel time – saves time and transport costs.

Online counselling also offers greater accessibility – ideal for those in rural areas or with mobility difficulties. It can work alongside those who travel, work remotely, those who are relocating, or during illness. A potential benefit can also be the familiar surroundings – some people feel more relaxed attending from their own personal space and you are not limited to seeking professionals in your immediate area.

As an integrative practitioner I am guided by the needs of the individual. I can incorporate creative methods where helpful to support expression and insight and to further develop a deeper sense of self and authenticity.

I support clients online across a broad range of emotional, relational, and life challenges. My integrative approach allows me to respond flexibly to each person’s experience and needs.

I maintain accurate GDPR compliance and record keeping. Client information is handled with strict confidentiality and transparency.

Before our first session you will receive an assessment, a client agreement and a payment link, ensuring your session is secured at the day and time agreed.
