About me and my therapy practice
I鈥檓 a registered 麻豆原创 Psychotherapist trained in an Integrative approach, which means I adapt, tailor and integrate the therapies to meet each individual鈥檚 unique needs and goals. If you are feeling overwhelmed and need a safe compassionate space to explore your feelings and make sense of it together, I am here to support you. I specialise in Behavioural Therapy and CBT which are approaches that builds a behavioural model tailored to help you understand what鈥檚 been keeping you stuck and support you to take practical steps towards a more meaningful, connected life. I am also trained in Person-Centered and Psychodynamic therapies.
Therapy with me offers a calm, supportive space while also gently encouraging movement toward what matters to you. I work at a pace that respects your rhythm, helping you manage your anxiety, low mood, and emotional overwhelm, and gentle encouragement to take meaningful steps toward valued aspects of life, even when this feels difficult.
Practice description
Along with behavioural approaches I take particular interest in culturally attuned work. Before becoming a therapist, I experienced first-hand what it means to integrate into western systems while trying not to lose the language, values and relational depth of one鈥檚 roots. I understand the unspoken pressures: the responsibility to family, the weight of reputation. Individuals often balance these successfully on the outside, yet carrying complex inner negotiations about belonging, loyalty, identity and expectation. I understand that there can be moments of feeling fully at home and moments of feeling subtly 鈥渙thered,鈥 sometimes all in the same day. I also understand what it is to adapt without wanting to assimilate. This is the lens I bring to my bi-cultural work.

My first session
I am happy to have a free 15 minute introductory phone call for any questions you may have before booking the first session.
I usually recommend starting with the initial session at a consessionary rate to help us explore in depth what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it. This session offers a space for you to share your experiences at your own pace, ask any questions you may have, and get a sense of what working together might feel like. It also allows me to understand your needs and how best I can support you. Following this, you can decide whether you would like to continue. If you do, we can agree on a regular weekly time for ongoing sessions, either on an open-ended basis or for a shorter, focused period depending on your goals.
The fee for the initial session is 拢40 and subsequent sessions will be charged at 拢85.
Each session lasts 50 minutes.
