About me and my therapy practice
I offer a therapeutic space to re-write, re-frame, and reclaim your story.
Psychotherapy and counselling give you the time and space to talk about what’s going on in your life. It’s a place where you can share your thoughts and feelings openly, without judgement. Talking things through can help you understand yourself better, make sense of difficult experiences, and find ways to move forward.
At Your Story Psychotherapy, I offer personal therapy in a safe environment to help you to explore your story.
I believe all people are unique and deserve to be seen and understood. When times are harder it can be important to know yourself and your triggers so that past experiences don't determine your present or future.
My approach is LGBTQ+ and kink aware and affirming, ensuring that every individual feels accepted and understood.
We are dedicated to supporting your mental health and personal growth.

This holistic approach to therapy, means looking at you as a whole person, your experiences, relationships, body, emotions, and the wider contexts that have shaped your life. I'm particularly interested in how the stories you carry about yourself can influence how you feel and the choices you make. Together, we can gently explore these narratives where they’ve come from, how they’ve been shaped, and whether they still feel right for you now.
Rather than seeing you as the problem, I'm interested in how certain patterns or stories may have taken hold, and how we might begin to loosen their grip. Therapy can become a space to re-author parts of your story in a way that feels more compassionate, flexible, and aligned with who you are and want to be.
I offer both long-term and short-term therapy. We will work together to explore anything you bring to therapy and hold in mind that you are the expert of your own experience.
My first session
I offer a free 30 minute telephone assessment session where we can discuss your expectations from therapy and I can introduce myself and the way I work so you can decided if it is the right fit for you.
