About me and my therapy practice
I offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences safely and at your own pace. I understand that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and I believe that feeling genuinely heard, accepted and understood is an important part of the therapeutic process.
My approach is relational and collaborative, with a focus on building a trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel able to bring all parts of yourself without fear of judgement. I work sensitively with clients experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, low self-esteem, difficult life experiences, emotional pain and periods of personal change or uncertainty.
I believe therapy is not about 鈥渇ixing鈥 you, but about creating space for deeper self-understanding, healing and growth. Together, we can explore patterns, emotions and experiences that may be affecting your wellbeing, helping you reconnect with your sense of self, inner strength and emotional resilience.
I work in a way that honours each person鈥檚 individuality and tailor sessions to your unique needs and pace. My aim is to provide a supportive environment where you can feel emotionally safe, empowered and more connected to yourself.
Practice description
I offer a calm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can speak openly about whatever may be troubling you. I understand that beginning therapy can feel daunting, so I aim to create an environment where you feel safe, supported and genuinely listened to from the outset.
My approach is collaborative and relational, meaning we work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I believe each person鈥檚 experience is unique, and I tailor therapy to your individual needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
In our sessions, you can expect warmth, honesty and empathy. I will support you in exploring thoughts, feelings and patterns that may be impacting your wellbeing, while helping you develop greater self-awareness, resilience and understanding of yourself.
I work with sensitivity and respect, recognising the importance of trust within the therapeutic relationship. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, low self-esteem, emotional difficulties or navigating life changes, I aim to provide a space where all parts of you are welcome.
Therapy with me is not about judgement or giving advice, but about supporting you to feel heard, understood and empowered in your own process of healing and growth.
My first session
Free Introductory Call
I offer a free 15-minute introductory phone call for us to briefly discuss what brings you to therapy, any questions you may have, and whether working together feels like the right fit for you.
This is an informal and no-obligation conversation designed to help you feel more comfortable before beginning counselling.
First Session
The first counselling session provides an opportunity for us to explore your reasons for seeking therapy and what you hope to gain from the process. Alongside an initial assessment, we will begin building a therapeutic relationship in a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space.
I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting, so there is no pressure to share everything immediately. We will work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, allowing space for trust and understanding to develop naturally.
