About me and my therapy practice
You may be feeling overwhelmed, caught in familiar patterns, or sensing that something isn鈥檛 quite right. I offer a warm, supportive space where you can pause, reflect, and begin to make sense of what鈥檚 going on for you.
Clients often tell me they feel at ease quickly, and value the balance of warmth, gentle encouragement, and thoughtful insight I bring. I work in a compassionate and relational way, where the connection between us creates a space to explore what may feel confusing, overwhelming, or hard to put into words.
Whether you鈥檙e noticing patterns you鈥檇 like to understand more deeply, navigating a difficult life transition, or simply want space for reflection, therapy can offer a place for you to gain clarity and find your way forward.
Practice description
I work in an integrative way, which means I adapt my approach to you and your unique experiences. My work is grounded in person-centred values, offering empathy and acceptance, while also drawing on psychodynamic ideas to explore how your past may be shaping your present.
We will work at a pace that feels manageable for you, building self-awareness, recognising patterns, and supporting meaningful, lasting change.
I work with a range of concerns, including:
鈥 Emotional wellbeing: anxiety, depression, stress, perfectionism, and that persistent 鈥渋nner critic鈥 or feeling 鈥渘ot good enough鈥
鈥 Relationships & loss: grief and bereavement, relationship difficulties, divorce, and recurring unhelpful patterns
鈥 Life transitions: menopause, parenthood, health challenges, navigating student life, career change, and retirement
鈥 Identity & self-understanding: feeling lost, disconnected, or lacking direction
鈥 Overwhelm & pressure: burnout, work-related stress, and feeling stretched by multiple roles and expectations
I offer open-ended therapy, meaning we can work together short-term around a specific issue, or longer-term for deeper exploration.
If you are feeling overwhelmed, caught in unhelpful patterns, or simply need a space to reflect and understand yourself more deeply, you are welcome to get in touch.
My first session
In our first session, we鈥檒l take some time to explore what has brought you to therapy and what you might be looking for, at a pace that feels comfortable for you. There is no pressure to share anything before you鈥檙e ready, and it鈥檚 also an opportunity for us to see whether working together feels right.
I offer a free short initial conversation so you can get a sense of how I work and ask any questions.
