About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes we just need someone who will truly listen.
I offer a calm, welcoming space where you can talk openly, at your own pace, about whatever is on your mind. As a person-centred counsellor, our sessions will be led by you, your experiences, your pace and what matters most in your life. My role is to walk alongside you with empathy, honesty and respect.
I’m a genuine, open-minded and down-to-earth person who understands that life can be complicated and that everyone’s story matters. My aim is to help you feel safe enough to explore your thoughts and feelings, gain clarity, and move forward in a way that feels right for you.
You’ll be met with warmth, acceptance and a space where you can simply be yourself.
Practice description
In my practice, I aim to offer a calm, supportive space where you can talk openly and feel truly heard. Working from a person-centred approach, our sessions will focus on you — your experiences, your feelings, and what matters most in your life.
We will build trust at a pace that feels right for you, creating a safe and non-judgemental environment where you can explore things honestly. While I’m here to listen and support you, I may also gently challenge you at times, helping you reflect and helping you see things from a different perspective. This can often lead to greater understanding, new insights and a stronger sense of self.
My hope is that through this process you will gain greater self-understanding, clarity, and confidence in finding your own way forward.
My first session
Before booking, I offer a free short telephone consultation so you can ask any questions and briefly share what has brought you to therapy.
In the first session, we will begin exploring what you would like support with. I will also complete a short assessment to help me understand how you are feeling at the moment and how I can best support you moving forward.
