I offer sessions online via a secure video platform, with face-to-face appointments available on request. I have availability across weekday daytimes and some evenings, Monday to Thursday.
I work with a small number of clients at a time to ensure focused, consistent support. Where demand exceeds availability I maintain a short waiting list.

About me and my therapy practice
I’m Rachel, an integrative counsellor with a trauma-informed approach. I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, identity, trust, and the kind of deep-rooted pain that often has its roots in difficult or harmful past experiences.
I work with the whole person; your thoughts, your body, your relationships, and your deeper sense of who you are and what gives your life meaning.
My approach draws on a range of evidence-based therapies, person-centred, psychodynamic, attachment theory, and CBT, woven together with mindfulness, somatic (body-based) awareness, and compassion-focused practice. I don’t work from a single fixed model because people aren’t fixed or one-dimensional. I tailor everything to you.
I work relationally and collaboratively, bringing genuine presence, warmth, and honesty into every session.
I welcome clients from all backgrounds and work in a way that is sensitive to neurodiversity, culture, and lived experience.
I am currently completing an MSc in Mindfulness-Based Research, with my thesis focused specifically on emotional regulation and self-compassion in adults with trauma histories.
I am also a qualified coach and a certified mindfulness and meditation teacher, which means we have a broader range of tools available to us when the work calls for it.

Are you feeling anxious, disconnected, or like you’ve somehow lost yourself along the way?
Maybe you find yourself repeating the same patterns in relationships and wondering why. Perhaps anxiety has become your background noise, always there, humming underneath, even when life looks fine on the outside. Maybe you’ve spent so long holding everything together for everyone else that you’ve lost touch with who you actually are. Or something happened, perhaps a long time ago, that changed you in ways you’re still trying to understand, and left a pain that won’t seem to shift no matter what you do.
You don’t have to know exactly what’s wrong to begin. Whatever brought you here, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
My first session
Before we begin I offer a free 20-minute consultation call. This is a chance for you to ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and for us both to sense whether working together feels right - with no pressure or obligation to proceed.
If you decide you’d like to go ahead, I may send a short pre-session form beforehand to help us use our first session well.
The first session itself is the beginning of the work. We’ll explore what’s brought you here, what you’re hoping for, and begin to find a direction that feels meaningful to you. There is no fixed agenda - your pace and your priorities lead the way.
