About me and my therapy practice

I believe in creating a therapy space where you feel safe to be yourself and can go at your own pace. No expectations, no judgements, just room to be heard and space to explore your mind.

My clients often haven’t yet found a therapy that has worked for them, and my relaxed and creative approach gives them the freedom to find their voice. But sometimes words and feelings aren’t easy to find at the beginning and that’s okay too. I’m experienced in working with autistic and ADHD clients and focus on working with what the mind needs on that day.

I’m also not rigid when it comes to insisting on weekly sessions. Often people benefit far more from fortnightly sessions and not just for financial reasons. Whether you’re looking for a set number of sessions or long term work finding a therapy pattern that works for you is key. We aren’t all the same!

Practice description

The issues I specialise in include anxiety, relationships and attachment (including polyamory, non monogamy, kink, and open relationships), trauma, depression, careers, body image, self worth, and disordered eating.

I’m also trained in polyvagal theory, psychology, hypnotherapy, and yoga which means I have a deeper understanding of the brain, the mind, and the nervous system.

My first session

My adaptable approach also applies to the assessment and onboarding process.

My assessment forms are seperated into the absolutely have to know (very short) and the what you'd like to tell me (which you can fill out as much or as little as you need to)

Some clients like to tell me their story in the first session, whereas others like to dive straight in and start talking.

It's your space.

About me and my therapy practice

As a neurodivergent counsellor, I’m aware I think differently and this brings a uniqueness to my therapy. It also means I see, welcome, and validate other ways of thinking and processing and am used to adapting my processes.

I work with a range of different issues including anxiety, relationships and attachment, trauma, depression, careers, and body image. I welcome people who haven’t quite found a therapy that works for them just yet and who want to embrace a creative approach.

I believe in creating a therapy space where you feel safe to be yourself and can go at your own pace. No expectations, no judgements, just room to be heard and space to explore your mind.

Practice description

I work in an integrative way which basically means I’ve studied different ways of providing therapy and draw on the right ones at the right times.

These include person centred, gestalt, psychosynthesis, transpersonal, polyvagal, and attachment focused. I’m also trained and experienced in hypnotherapy and yoga teaching which although aren’t part of my integrative therapy means I have an extended understanding of consciousness, the nervous system, and the way the body remembers and holds trauma.

I have additional training and knowledge in GSRD, spirituality, narcissistic relationships, dissociation, Autism, and ADHD.
