About me and my therapy practice
Hi I'm Vanya, a person-centred Counsellor. I offer safe, non-judgemental space to help you talk about what matters to you. I can support you to look inwards in a way that feels right for you and is at your own pace. Please note, I do not offer advice and cannot offer solutions to problems directly, I can help you find your own way of working things out and coping.
What I can help with and who I can support:
* Bereavement and loss - I have experience working with people who have lost family, friends, pets.
* People who have had or have cancer, or have family members/ friends wo have cancer and are trying to make sense of it all.
* Family conflict - I support individuals who are going through conflict in family or friendships.
* If you struggle with self-image and/or self-esteem, I may be able to help you by creating a safe space for you to discover what is important to you.
* Work related stress and issues - I have experience within corporate and NHS stressors and burn out.
* If you are a carer and need time for yourself to talk about the pressures you are facing, I will be there for you to listen and help you navigate life the way that suits you.
* Anxiety - Together we can work towards finding ways for you to cope and take control.
* Smoking and Nicotine addiction - I have extensive experience supporting people struggling with Nicotine addiction.
* My practice is neurodivergent affirming and if you need time to talk to someone and just be yourself, I can listen and offer non-judgemental environment for you.

Practice description
As a person-centred Counsellor I offer non-directive therapy that helps you lead the sessions in your own way and a pace that suits you. I can help you look into how your own experiences affect you and what you feel is the right direction for you. Together we can work towards you growing your self-esteem, self-awareness and self-direction.
I offer both short-term and long-term sessions for adults. I work remotely, both online and over the telephone. I can help with a variety of issues so please get in touch to arrange a free of charge up to 30 min discussion to find out if we can work together.
My first session
Once we book a first session, I email you a counselling agreement which describes the terms of work and what you can expect of me.
If you have any questions about the agreement you can either email me before the first session or you can ask me during the first session.
As the session begins, it is up to you what you would like to focus on and talk about. There will never be any pressure for you to talk about something you do not want to.

Hi, I'm Vanya. Are you feeling overwhelmed by a painful loss, work burnout, or relationship conflict? I provide a safe, non-judgemental space to help you talk about what matters to you, entirely at your own pace.
I don't offer advice or direct solutions. Instead, I help you look inwards safely, explore your feelings, and find your own unique way of coping.

- Family Conflict & Relationships: I support individuals navigating difficult dynamics, arguments, or breakdowns in family and friendships.
- Self-Esteem & Self-Image: If you struggle with low confidence, we can work together to help you discover your worth and what truly matters to you.
- Work-Related Stress & Carer Burnout: Whether you work in a high-pressure role (NHS, corporate, public/private sector) or care for a loved one, I will help you protect your mental health and prevent burnout.
- Anxiety: Together, we can uncover your triggers and find practical ways for you to quiet your mind and regain control.
- Smoking & Nicotine Addiction: If you want to stop smoking or vaping, I can help you address the underlying stress and habits driving the addiction.
- Neurodivergent Affirming Space: My practice is fully inclusive. If you are neurodivergent and want a space where you can drop the mask and just be yourself, you are welcome here.
