About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified integrative counsellor, helping adults navigate life’s challenges and understand themselves better. I draw from person-centred, psychodynamic and CBT approaches. I also work creatively when this feels helpful, using a variety of reflective exercises, particularly when words are hard to find.

The therapeutic relationship is central to my work. Meaningful change happens when you feel heard, accepted and safe to explore what matters to you. I work collaboratively, adapting my approach to your needs.

In a calm, warm and non-judgemental space, we work together. This is your space to be heard, reflect and explore what matters most.

I work with adults facing a range of emotional and life challenges, including the impact of trauma, relationship difficulties, stress and low mood. Alongside private practice, I have experience in charity settings, including North Kent Mind, supporting adults with a wide range of mental health challenges.

You don’t need to know what to talk about or have clear goals at the start. We can take things one step at a time and see whether working together feels right for you.

Practice description

I offer counselling sessions on online via a secure and confidential video platform.

My practice is relational and collaborative. We work together at a pace that feels right for you, with sessions shaped around your needs and what feels important to explore.

I aim to offer an inclusive and accessible practice where you feel respected, listened to, and supported as you are. You don’t need to have a clear label for what you’re feeling, a sense that something isn’t quite right is enough to begin.

Fees

• Individual counselling sessions (50 minutes, adults 18+) – £60

• Single-session therapy (50 minutes) – £70

• Reduced fee for counselling students and trainee counsellors – £45

My first session

The first session is an opportunity to see whether we can work together and if my approach feels right for you. We will discuss a working agreement and gather some essential information, which is part of good ethical practice.

I usually begin with an initial assessment, exploring what has brought you to counselling and what you hope to gain from our work together. You do not need to share everything at once. We will focus on what feels most important to you.

There is no pressure or expectation in the first session, it is simply an open and supportive space to see if this feels like the right fit.
