About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m Andrew, a UK-trained, Â鶹Դ´-registered counsellor based in AndalucÃa. I offer online therapy to English-speaking adults across Spain, the UK, and Europe.
I work with people experiencing a wide range of emotional and relational difficulties, including anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship challenges, and periods of transition or uncertainty. Many of the people I support are living abroad and find that, while life may look settled from the outside, there can be a quiet sense of loneliness, pressure, or disconnection beneath the surface.
My way of working is relational, integrative, trauma-informed, and person-centred. I aim to offer a calm, steady, and respectful therapeutic relationship where you can speak openly and feel listened to, without judgement or pressure to be a certain way.
Therapy is a space to slow things down and make sense of what you’re carrying. Together, we explore thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may feel confusing or overwhelming, as well as the beliefs that shape how you see yourself and relate to others. At times the work may feel reflective and containing; at other moments it may involve gently turning towards more difficult feelings or experiences. We move at a pace that feels manageable and supportive.
I see therapy as a collaborative process. My role is not to give advice or solutions, but to walk alongside you — offering presence, curiosity, and gentle challenge — so that you can develop greater clarity, self-understanding, and trust in yourself.
Over time, many clients find they feel more grounded, calmer, and better able to navigate relationships, transitions, and everyday pressures. The aim is not to change who you are, but to feel more at home within yourself and more able to meet life with openness and resilience.
Practice description
I am an English-speaking, Â鶹Դ´-registered counsellor based in AndalucÃa, offering online therapy to adults across Spain, the UK, and Europe.
My approach is relational, integrative, existential, and person-centred. I offer a calm, steady, and confidential space where you can explore whatever feels overwhelming, confusing, or emotionally heavy — at your own pace.
I work with adults experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including:
• anxiety, stress, and ongoing emotional tension
• low mood, loss of direction, or feeling disconnected from yourself
• relationship difficulties or repeating patterns
• low self-esteem, confidence challenges, or self-doubt
• loneliness or adjustment difficulties, particularly when living abroad
• communication struggles or boundary issues
• overthinking, worry, and internal pressure
• identity questions, life transitions, or changes in circumstances
In our work together, we explore your emotional responses, relationship patterns, and the beliefs that shape your sense of self. I offer both a grounded, supportive presence and gentle challenge, helping you notice what may be beneath the surface and gain clarity around experiences that can be hard to see on your own.
Some sessions may feel soothing and reflective, while others may bring up deeper emotions or past experiences. Exploring what you’ve been carrying can sometimes feel tiring — this is a natural part of the process. We move slowly and collaboratively, respecting your emotional capacity and nervous system.
Over time, many clients notice feeling more stable, more confident, and more connected to themselves. Anxiety often softens, communication becomes clearer, boundaries strengthen, and relationships feel more balanced. The aim is not to become someone different, but to feel more grounded in who you are, more present in your life, and more able to meet challenges with clarity and self-trust.
My first session
Before beginning therapy, we’ll start with a complimentary 20–30 minute discovery call. This isn’t a therapy session, but a gentle, informal space to explore what brings you here, what you’re hoping for, and how I work.
The call gives you an opportunity to get a sense of me, ask any questions you may have, and notice how it feels to speak together. A good therapeutic relationship is essential — you deserve to work with someone you feel safe with, understood by, and comfortable being yourself around.
During the call, I’ll invite you to share a little about what’s been going on for you. There’s no pressure to tell your whole story or to talk about anything before you feel ready. We’ll focus on what feels important for you right now, what you’d like support with, and what you hope might feel different over time.
I’ll also explain my approach and what therapy sessions can look like in practice, including pace, boundaries, and how we might work together. You’re welcome to ask anything at all, whether practical or emotional.
This call is simply a starting point — a space to check in with yourself and notice whether you feel at ease, supported, and able to be open. If it feels like a good fit, we can arrange our first full session. If not, that’s completely okay. The aim is for you to feel informed, empowered, and free to choose the therapist who feels right for you.
Your comfort, autonomy, and wellbeing always come first.

Living abroad can intensify old patterns and bring up unexpected emotional layers. You may appear capable and independent on the outside, while privately feeling isolated, overwhelmed, or unsure of yourself. Therapy offers a space where you don’t have to carry these experiences alone.
In our work together, we explore your emotional responses, relationship patterns, and the beliefs that shape your sense of self. I offer both a grounded, supportive presence and gentle challenge, helping you notice what may be beneath the surface and gain clarity around experiences that can be hard to see on your own.
