About me and my therapy practice
I am Marianthi, a Counselling Psychologist in Doctoral Training and Âé¶¹Ô´´ Registered Member with over seven years of clinical experience across NHS services, trauma specialisms, and community settings.
I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, and relational difficulties, including questions of identity and self-worth. My approach is integrative and existential, meaning we focus on your unique experience rather than applying one fixed model.

Practice description
Life can look as though it is going well on the outside, while inside it feels heavy and demanding. You may be holding a lot together, work, relationships, family, and a constant stream of thoughts, replaying conversations, questioning yourself, or feeling guilty for needing support.
Therapy offers a steady, confidential space to talk openly without worrying about burdening others. It can help you understand how your past is shaping your present, and support you in finding a way of living that feels more sustainable and more your own.
Rather than focusing on labels or quick fixes, our work pays attention to how you experience your world and the meanings you are living with now. Sessions are collaborative and reflective, shaped around your needs, values, and pace.
My first session
I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can talk about what has brought you to therapy and see whether working together feels like a good fit.
In your first full session, we will begin to explore what is currently going on for you, your background, and what you would like from therapy. There is no pressure to share everything at once.
Sessions are collaborative and reflective, with the aim of creating a safe, grounded space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported to explore your experiences at your own pace.
