About me and my therapy practice

How I Work:

Allowing you to feel heard, accepted and understood is at the heart of my practice. I know that reaching out for counselling can feel daunting, especially when life already feels heavy. I offer you a calm, steady presence where you can talk freely, go at your own pace, and begin to make sense of what you鈥檙e carrying.

A Person鈥慍entred Foundation, Deepened by ACT:

I鈥檓 a Registered Member of 麻豆原创 and an Accredited Registrant with the NCPS. My core training is in the person鈥慶entred approach, and I鈥檝e also completed Steve Hayes鈥 Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Immersion training. This blend allows me to support you in relating to difficult thoughts and feelings with more openness and compassion, while gently exploring what truly matters to you and how you want to move towards it.

Experience and Background:

I work with adults aged 18 and over. My experience includes working within NHS Talking Therapies, supporting people with anxiety, stress and depression. I鈥檝e also supported unpaid carers and individuals navigating homelessness, and I bring a deep respect for the resilience people carry in challenging circumstances.

Through my work as a social prescriber, I鈥檝e supported people living with long鈥憈erm health conditions, chronic pain, and physical health challenges such as fibromyalgia, diabetes and COPD, and I understand how these experiences can affect emotional wellbeing.

Who I Support:

People often come to me when they feel overwhelmed, stuck, lost, or unsure how to move forward. You might be struggling with 蝉别濒蹿鈥慸辞耻产迟, low self鈥慹steem, a life transition, or a sense that you鈥檝e lost touch with who you are. You don鈥檛 need to arrive with the 鈥渞ight鈥 words 鈥 we can begin exactly where you are.

My Therapeutic Style:

My style is warm, grounded and compassionate. I won鈥檛 rush you or push you into places you鈥檙e not ready to go. Instead, we鈥檒l explore your experiences together with curiosity and care, creating space for clarity, self鈥憉nderstanding and gentle change.
