About me and my therapy practice

In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in the chaos and stress. Are you struggling with overwhelming thoughts? Perhaps you are worried that you're letting others down? Are sleepless nights filled with anxiety about what’s coming next ? You might feel like everyone else is coping, while you're stuck in a cycle of exhaustion and frustration. If this sounds familiar, you may be feeling overwhelmed by life's demands, leaving you little time for yourself. Let's work together and find a more balanced and manageable path forward.

As a compassionate psychodynamic therapist, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Together, we'll examine the interplay between your past, relationships, and current challenges, working towards healing and growth.

Starting therapy can be daunting. You don’t have to go through it alone. I am here to help you gain insight into patterns and behaviours of what may be holding you back. I've seen firsthand how this process can lead to positive transformations over time. If this resonates with you, I would love to hear from you.

Practice description

I offer weekly therapy sessions, each lasting 60 minutes. Therapy can be short-term or long-term, depending on your needs, goals, and what feels most helpful for you. We can review this together as your work progresses.

I am a Â鶹ԭ´´-registered psychodynamic therapist and work in accordance with the Â鶹ԭ´´ Ethical Framework, ensuring that our work is conducted safely, professionally, and with respect, confidentiality, and care.

My first session

The first therapy session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and to see whether we feel like a good fit working together. During this session, I will ask some gentle questions to better understand what has brought you to counselling, a little about your personal story, and what you hope to gain from therapy. You are welcome to share at your own pace—there is no pressure to talk about anything before you feel ready.

I am a compassionate therapist who offers a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. If we decide to continue working together, we will agree on a regular weekly session time. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we will work together in a way that feels right for you, respecting your individual needs, goals, and pace. I believe therapy should be accessible and affordable for everyone. I offer an adjustable rate for individuals on benefits or low income. I aim to help you feel heard, understood, and supported as you move toward the changes you would like to make.
