About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Kira. I am passionate about empowering adults to discover their true selves, understand their behaviour patterns, and move towards a life of greater happiness and fulfilment.
Are you feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or low in mood?
Do you struggle with self-doubt, people-pleasing, or feeling not good enough?
Are difficult childhood experiences still affecting your confidence, relationships, or emotional wellbeing?
Many of the clients I support are adult survivors of emotional neglect, abandonment, or narcissistic abuse. When your emotional needs were not met growing up, this can show up later as anxiety, relationship difficulties, fear of rejection, perfectionism, or harsh self-criticism. You may appear capable on the outside while feeling unsettled or insecure within.
In therapy, I can help you to:
• Understand the roots of anxiety and low self-worth
• Process childhood trauma in a safe and manageable way
• Feel less emotionally reactive and more regulated
• Develop healthier boundaries without guilt
• Reduce self-criticism and build genuine self-compassion
• Improve relationship patterns
• Feel more confident, grounded, and secure in yourself
My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, meaning I tailor our work to your individual needs and goals. I am grounded in Person-Centred Therapy, offering a warm, non-judgemental space where you can feel truly heard. I also draw on Transactional Analysis to explore early life scripts and relationship dynamics, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to gently challenge unhelpful thought patterns.
As a trauma-informed counsellor, I prioritise safety, collaboration, and empowerment. We move at a pace that feels right for you.
Clients often tell me they feel lighter, clearer, and more in control of their emotions. Over time, therapy can help you feel less driven by old patterns and more able to make choices that genuinely support your wellbeing and relationships.
Practice description
In our sessions, you will be met with warmth, compassion, and non-judgement. I offer calm and supportive environment where you can bring your emotions, uncertainty, fears, and hopes exactly as they are.
Your well-being is my priority and you can expect me to listen deeply, and respectfully, helping you to feel seen and heard. Together, we will gently, at you pace, explore what you are going through.
I work with adults experiencing a variety of challenges, including the effects of childhood trauma, emotional neglect and abandonment, narcissistic abuse, anxiety, and low mood offering a safe space to explore these experiences.
These are just some of the challenges I support my clients with. You are welcome to get in touch to discuss your individual situation.
Our session may involve:
Exploring emotions, thoughts, and patterns with curiosity and kindness.
Gaining insight into triggers and how your nervous system is responding.

Developing practical tools at your pace.
