About me and my therapy practice

Welcome to Kirsty Pratt Integrative Therapy. I am a London-based integrative counsellor offering online and telephone counselling for adults. Whatever has brought you here is important, and together we can explore a way forward that feels right for you.

I offer a non-judgemental, supportive space where you can reflect on your experiences, focus on what matters most to you, and move toward greater understanding and wellbeing. My work is guided by your individual journey, allowing space for clarity, reflection, and growth at a pace that feels right for you.

My practice is rooted in compassion and ethical care. I support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. I offer a calm, contained space that is attentive to you as a whole person.

I see therapy as a shared journey, shaped by trust and presence, where insight and understanding can gently unfold over time.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and Psychology and a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. My passion lies in mental health and wellbeing, and I am driven to help others and support them in making meaningful positive changes. The experience I gained during my career in a corporate environment enabled me to recognise and understand the importance of mental health and finding balance in life. Through my volunteer work at South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust, I have gained a valuable understanding of the importance of compassion and empathy in helping others feel heard, respected, and validated.

Therapy with me offers a non-judgemental, grounded environment where you can reflect openly on both present challenges and past experiences. Our work is guided by your pace, creating space for clarity, insight, and growth as you move toward greater wellbeing.

Practice description

My approach is integrative, drawing on humanistic, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioural (CBT) therapies. I blend these approaches in a flexible, relational way, adapting the work to your individual needs and experiences.

I aim to create a gentle, collaborative space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Together, we can look at emotional distress, relational patterns, trauma, and periods of transition, supporting deeper understanding and meaningful change.

At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I provide a safe, warm, non-judgmental, and empathic environment where the focus is on you and your unique journey. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and supported as we work together at a pace that feels right for you.

Session Format

I offer counselling sessions to adults online and by telephone, creating a flexible and accessible way to engage in therapy from wherever you feel most comfortable.


My first session

I offer a free initial consultation, available online or by phone. This informal conversation gives you space to ask questions, talk about what has brought you to therapy, and get a sense of whether my approach feels right for you. Please note that this is not a formal counselling session.

Before our first session, I will send you some brief paperwork, including my client agreement and privacy statement, which we can go through together when we meet.

If you decide to continue after this initial conversation, we can discuss a plan for ongoing therapy, including agreeing on a regular session time. Sessions typically take place on a weekly basis, with each counselling session lasting 50 minutes.
