About me and my therapy practice
Life can be overwhelming and difficult to figure out on your own sometimes, whether it’s relationships, facing uncertainty or stuck in old patterns that are no longer useful to you, counselling can offer a space that’s safe to explore, understand and mend.
I offer a supportive and non-judgemental space for clients, understanding that each client is unique and as such each therapeutic relationship is too. I am inclusive, I welcome people of all genders, sexualities and relationship styles. I’ve worked with neurodivergent clients, LGBTQIA+ clients and sex workers, as well as people with anxiety, stress, grief, self esteem issues and exploring their identity.
Whether you’re looking for help with a specific issue or just wanting a safe space to explore your life and relationships I’ll meet you where you are and work with you to find a path towards meaningful change.
Practice description
As a Gestalt Counsellor I use a variety of methods to facilitate self-expression.
Together we can work creatively to bring all forms of expression into therapy sessions, including dreams, art, music, sandtray work, writing, poetry, movement and dance. Having space to do something different and to perhaps see different ways of moving forward. Equally finding that still space to just breathe and reflect together, that's some of the beauty of gestalt counselling, being able to tailor the response to what you may need at that moment in time.
I currently have availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, either online or at my private practice in Chesham, Daytime and evening slots are available.
My first session
The first step is a free 30-min consultation either over a video call, phone call or face to face in my counselling room. This will be the chance to share what’s on your mind, ask questions and work out whether we are a good fit.
I will then leave it up to you to contact me again to confirm if you want to go forward with more sessions. From there we can work out how frequently you’d like to come to counseling.
