About me and my therapy practice
I work with adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem and relationship difficulties.
My main areas of interest are attachment, neurodivergence (including ADHD and autism), and supporting women particularly around parenting, identity, emotional overwhelm, and the pressures of balancing multiple roles.
These experiences often impact relationships, self-worth and how we cope in daily life.
I work as an integrative counsellor, which means I draw on different therapeutic approaches and tailor the way I work to each individual. I do not use a one-size-fits-all approach, and we will work at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.
My main areas of interest are attachment, neurodivergence (including ADHD and autism), and supporting women, particularly around parenting, identity, overwhelm, and the pressures of balancing multiple roles. I am especially interested in how attachment experiences and neurodivergence can shape self-worth, relationships and coping strategies in adulthood.
Practice description
I work from a private, safe and confidential counselling space in Central Cambridge.
In our sessions, I offer a supportive space where you can talk about what feels most important to you.
Sometimes we will focus on what is happening in your life right now, and at other times we may gently explore patterns, relationships, or earlier experiences if it feels helpful to do so.
My aim is to offer a consistent and reliable therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, respected and able to be yourself. I will support you to make sense of what is going on for you in a way that feels manageable, rather than overwhelming, so that you can begin to understand patterns and make meaningful changes in your life.
My first session
Before we begin working together, I offer a free 30-minute consultation call. This is an opportunity for you to share what is bringing you to therapy, and to decide whether working together feels like a good fit.
In your first session, we will take time to explore what has brought you to therapy and what you are hoping for. We will also briefly go through some practical aspects of how we will work, including confidentiality and what you can expect from the process.
You do not need to prepare anything in advance, and we will go at a pace that feels comfortable for you, with no pressure to share anything before you are ready.
