About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative psychotherapist working with adults in South London (Clapham, Wimbledon & online). I have particular experience supporting people experiencing anxiety, relationship difficulties (with partners, family, friends or at work), stress / burnout and low mood or depression.

My approach is integrative, which means I draw on different therapeutic perspectives depending on each person’s needs. I believe meaningful change in therapy develops through a supportive and collaborative relationship where you feel able to speak openly and be heard without judgement.

In our work together we can explore the difficulties you are facing and begin to make sense of patterns that may be holding you back. Therapy can offer the opportunity to deepen your self-understanding, reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been hidden or overlooked, and find new ways of relating to yourself and others.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 20 years working in corporate and not-for-profit HR. This experience gave me a strong understanding of the pressures of working life and how sustained stress can leave people feeling anxious, depleted or disconnected from themselves and others.

I aim to offer a space that contrasts with many everyday environments, one that is reflective, non-judgemental and not focused on outcomes or productivity. A place where you don’t have to have everything figured out, you can simply be.

Practice description

Therapy is different for everyone and will be shaped by your individual needs and goals. In our work together we might:

- Focus on what feels most important for you in the present moment

- Explore patterns in your relationships, work, or in how you relate to yourself, and develop new ways of responding

- Create a supportive space where you can experience and process difficult emotions safely

- Reflect on how earlier experiences and relationships may continue to influence how you think, feel and connect with others today

- Explore what brings meaning, direction and fulfilment to your life

- Develop practical, evidence-informed ways of coping with challenges

I have experience working with people from a wide range of backgrounds, identities and life experiences, and I am committed to offering a practice that is inclusive, welcoming and grounded in ethical practice.

I work in-person at two locations. My Clapham practice is a short walk from Clapham Common or Clapham North tube stations. My Wimbledon practice is a short walk from Wimbledon station (tube and overground).

My first session

I offer a free 20-minute initial phone call. This provides an opportunity for you to briefly share what has brought you to therapy, ask any questions you may have, and get a sense of how I work. It can also help us decide whether my approach feels like a good fit for you.

If you would like to continue, we can arrange a 50-minute first session. This will give us more time to explore in greater depth what has led you to seek therapy and what you might hope to gain from it. I’ll be interested in hearing more about your experiences and what feels important for you to talk about, and you’ll have the space to ask anything you’re curious about regarding therapy or how I work.

The first session is also an opportunity for both of us to consider whether working together feels right. There is no obligation to continue beyond this point, and you can take time afterwards to reflect on how the session felt for you.

If we decide to work together, sessions usually take place weekly and last 50 minutes. I offer sessions both in person and online. Some clients choose to work in a time-limited way (often around 12–16 sessions) to focus on a particular issue, while others prefer open-ended therapy, allowing more space for deeper exploration over time. Together, we can find a way of working that feels supportive and suited to your needs.
