About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I'm Jess, I'm a psychotherapeutic counsellor based in Bristol offering inclusive, integrative therapy for teenagers, adults and neurodivergent clients.
I understand that starting therapy can feel confusing and overwhelming: there are many different types of therapy, and it can be hard to know what鈥檚 right for you. My aim is to make it clearer and to help you feel supported from the very start.
I am what鈥檚 known as an 鈥渋ntegrative鈥 counsellor, in plain terms, that means I draw on different therapeutic approaches and tailor them to what you need, rather than using one fixed method. I believe sharing education around mental health can be really empowering and means you can take what we do together in our sessions into your own life.
I aim to offer an environment that is welcoming, where we can work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I believe therapy doesn鈥檛 always have to be heavy, there can be kindness, lightness and even laughter, alongside the hard work.
I work with adults, young people and teenagers (from age 14+), and I strive to make my practice inclusive, welcoming people from all backgrounds and people.
I鈥檓 particularly passionate about supporting neurodivergent clients: I have personal lived-experience of ADHD and Autism, including diagnosis and beyond. I understand the challenges that can come with neurodiversity, and I鈥檝e done specialised CPD training to support people with ADHD and Autism in counselling.
If you鈥檙e curious about therapy but don鈥檛 know if it鈥檚 the right fit, you鈥檙e very welcome to get in touch. I鈥檓 happy to answer questions or have an informal chat first.

After this we can book an initial session to discuss things in more detail. This can be just one, while you decide if I am right for you or you can book in a block of sessions depending how many you want. This session is charged as my standard rate.
