About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I’m Rachael and I believe deeply in the healing power of human connection, emotional safety, and being truly understood. As a registered Â鶹ԭ´´ therapist and couples counsellor, I work with both individuals and couples who are seeking deeper connection with themselves and with others. I offer a warm, collaborative space where relationships, patterns of attachment, and emotional experiences can be explored with care and curiosity. Grounded in evidence based practice and a compassionate, relational approach, I am here to support you in building greater understanding, trust, and meaningful change in your life and relationships.

I understand that every person’s journey is different. Together, we’ll take the time to get to know one another building a therapeutic relationship that feels safe enough for deeper exploration, allowing you to experience new possibilities for connection and trust.

Practice description

In our individual sessions, you’ll find a steady, confidential space to bring forward whatever challenges you’re facing—whether it involves anxiety, depression, trauma, or difficulties in relationships and life transitions. Exploring within the safety of the therapeutic relationship, you can begin to experience new possibilities for connection, self-understanding, and emotional security.

My work with couples is grounded in an attachment lens, which focuses on understanding how early experiences of closeness, safety, and responsiveness shape the way we relate to one another as adults. In couples counselling, we explore the emotional patterns and cycles that can leave partners feeling disconnected, misunderstood, or alone. By gently uncovering the underlying attachment needs and vulnerabilities beneath conflict, we work together to foster greater emotional safety, responsiveness, and secure connection within the relationship.
