I provide online counselling for adults experiencing compulsive sexual behaviour, problematic pornography use and other issues affecting their mental wellbeing. I also work with anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief and life transitions.
My approach is practical, collaborative and non-judgemental. Rather than focusing solely on stopping unwanted behaviours, we work together to understand the pressures, experiences and coping patterns that have contributed to them. This often helps reduce shame and creates opportunities for lasting change.
Before our first session, I may ask you to complete a confidential assessment. This provides a structured starting point for understanding your experiences and helps identify the factors most relevant to your situation. We use this to guide our work together, ensuring therapy is tailored to your individual needs.
Sessions are held online via secure video call, allowing you to access therapy from the privacy of your own home. My aim is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can speak openly without fear of judgement while developing healthier ways of coping and moving towards the life you want to build.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified counsellor with specialist training in compulsive sexual behaviour and problematic pornography use. Alongside this, I work with a range of issues including anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief and life transitions.
I believe that people make sense in the context of their experiences. Rather than asking, "What's wrong with you?", I aim to understand the pressures, experiences and coping patterns that have shaped your current difficulties. Together, we explore not only the behaviour itself but also the emotional needs it may be meeting and the changes that can lead to lasting recovery.
My approach is collaborative, practical and non-judgemental. I strive to create a space where you can speak openly, even about experiences that feel difficult or carry a great deal of shame. Therapy is tailored to your individual needs, helping you better understand yourself, develop healthier ways of coping and move towards the life you want to build.
Practice description
I offer online therapy for adults seeking support with compulsive sexual behaviour, problematic pornography use and a range of other emotional and psychological difficulties. Sessions take place via secure video call, allowing you to access therapy from the privacy and comfort of your own home.
My approach is collaborative, practical and non-judgemental. I aim to create a space where you can speak openly about whatever is troubling you, even if it feels difficult, embarrassing or carries a great deal of shame. Together, we'll work to understand not only the behaviour or problem itself, but also the pressures, experiences and coping patterns that may be keeping it going.
Rather than relying on willpower alone, therapy focuses on helping you develop a clearer understanding of yourself, build healthier ways of coping and create lasting change. Where appropriate, I use a structured assessment before therapy begins to help identify the key factors contributing to your difficulties. This gives us a clear starting point and helps ensure our work together is tailored to your individual needs.
Whether you're struggling with pornography use, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties or another challenge, my aim is to provide a supportive, confidential space where you can better understand yourself and move towards the life you want to build.
My first session
Our first session is an opportunity to understand what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. Before we meet, I may ask you to complete a comprehensive assessment designed to explore the pressures, patterns and coping strategies that may be contributing to your difficulties. This provides a useful starting point for our work together and helps ensure our sessions are focused on what matters most to you. We will discuss the assessment during our first session, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and begin developing a shared understanding of your goals.
Sessions are delivered online via secure video call, offering a confidential and flexible way to access therapy from wherever you feel most comfort
