About me and my therapy practice

I work in an integrative way, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Transactional Analysis (TA), and Person-Centred Therapy. This flexible approach allows me to tailor sessions to your individual needs, whether that means exploring past experiences, identifying patterns of thought and behaviour, developing practical coping strategies, or improving communication and emotional resilience.

I aim to work collaboratively with you, supporting personal insight, self-awareness, and emotional growth. I have experience helping clients with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, low self-esteem, and personal development. I am also skilled in supporting autistic individuals, understanding the unique perspectives and needs that may shape their therapeutic journey.

Being bilingual in English and Arabic and having a multicultural background, I value cultural sensitivity and inclusivity in every session. As a Â鶹ԭ´´ member, I am committed to ethical, professional, and evidence-based practice.

Practice description

My practice provides a welcoming, safe, and confidential space where you can feel heard and understood. Clients can expect a supportive environment that encourages reflection, self-discovery, and positive change at a pace that feels comfortable.

Sessions are client-focused, giving you the time and space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I aim to help clients develop practical tools to manage life’s challenges, build resilience, and improve wellbeing.

I also understand the importance of accessibility and inclusivity. My practice is open to clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and those who may prefer to work in English or Arabic. I strive to create an environment where everyone feels valued and understood, with particular care for clients on the autism spectrum.

Being part of the Â鶹ԭ´´ ensures my practice meets high professional and ethical standards, giving clients confidence that therapy is delivered safely, confidentially, and with empathy.

My first session

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other in a relaxed and supportive environment. We will talk about what has brought you to therapy, what you hope to achieve, and any concerns or challenges you would like to work on. This helps me understand your needs and ensures we start in a way that feels comfortable and tailored to you.

I will also ask you to complete a brief initial assessment form. This is simply to gather background information and help us set clear goals together. It’s also a useful way for you to reflect on what you want from therapy before we begin.

During this session, you are welcome to ask any questions about how I work, confidentiality, session structure, and practical arrangements. My aim is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and supported from the very beginning.

The first session is included at the standard rate, and there is no pressure to continue if you feel it is not the right fit. I want you to leave the session feeling informed, reassured, and confident about the journey ahead.
