About me and my therapy practice

My passion for counselling is deeply rooted in my own life experiences and my genuine desire to support people as they navigate life’s ups and downs and have experience working with a number of different life experiences and challenges. I truly believe that counselling has the power to change lives, offering space for growth, healing, self-discovery and self-compassion.

When you come to me for support, I listen with empathy, sensitivity, and without judgment. I am committed to understanding your unique story, and I warmly welcome you as you are. I am especially interested in how our early experiences shape who we become and continue to affect us throughout our lives. Having spent many years working with young people who have experienced trauma,I bring a deep awareness of how those early challenges can echo into adulthood showing up as low self esteem, anxiety, depression and low mood amongst other things.

I have had the privilege of supporting people to navigate a broad range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, domestic and emotional abuse, trauma, chronic illness, ADHD, relationship or family issues and the exploration and processing of a number of adverse life experiences.

I am currently enjoying supporting clients at West Kent Mind.

I take an integrative approach to counselling, blending person-centred, psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques. This allows me to tailor our work together, nurturing your strengths, helping you gain insight, and empowering you to make positive, lasting changes. My aim is to walk alongside you in your journey, offering compassionate support every step of the way.

As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, I am dedicated to upholding the highest professional standards whilst offering a safe, confidential space to talk, reflect, and grow at your pace
