About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome
I’m Chloe, a qualified person-centred counsellor.
I am a registered member of the Â鶹Դ´ (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), the UK’s largest professional body for counsellors and psychotherapists. This means I work in line with their high ethical and professional standards, ensuring you receive safe and trustworthy support. I also hold a full DBS check and professional indemnity insurance, so you can feel confident and at ease in our work together.
Practice description
I’m Chloe, a qualified person-centred counsellor.
I offer a calm, confidential, and welcoming space where you can talk openly about whatever is on your mind. You might be feeling overwhelmed, uncertain about your next steps, or simply in need of a place to pause and reflect. Wherever you are right now, you’ll be met with care, understanding, and a genuine willingness to listen.
A key part of my work is creating a trusting and supportive relationship where you can feel safe to be yourself. I believe that feeling truly heard, accepted, and valued can be deeply healing. I won’t offer quick fixes or tell you what to do; instead, I’ll walk alongside you as you explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at a pace that feels right for you. My hope is that you come to feel supported, understood, and more connected to yourself.
As a person-centred counsellor, our sessions are guided by what matters most to you. I work with empathy, openness, and respect, trusting in your ability to find your own way when you have the right support.
Alongside my person-centred approach, I also draw on training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and existential therapy. When it feels helpful, we might gently explore patterns in your thoughts or behaviours, or reflect on deeper questions around meaning, identity, and life’s challenges. These ideas are always offered with care and flexibility, and only if they feel useful to you.
Whether you’re coming with something specific or simply a sense that you’d like to understand yourself more deeply, I offer a warm, supportive space to begin.
If this feels like the right fit for you, you’re very welcome to get in touch.
