Practice description
I’m a qualified therapist and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Â鶹Դ´), practising to high professional and ethical standards.
I aim to provide a thoughtful, respectful, and non-judgemental space where we can think about what’s troubling you at your own pace.
Therapy can be a chance to pause, reflect, and make sense of what’s been happening — to understand yourself more fully and find new ways of approaching life’s challenges.
The relationship we build can become a steady, supportive base from which you can explore what feels difficult.
My approach is integrative and collaborative — I draw on different therapeutic perspectives, which allows therapy to be flexible and responsive to your unique needs.
This means our work can focus on what feels most important to you — whether that’s finding steadier ways of coping day-to-day, or gently exploring how patterns from the past may continue to shape your present thoughts, feelings, and relationships.
Gaining greater awareness of these patterns can bring clarity and relief, opening the door to new ways of understanding - and being. However we work, my intention is to offer a safe, compassionate presence and a depth of understanding – a space where you can feel deeply heard and supported.
People often come to therapy when life feels confusing or overwhelming, or when familiar ways of coping no longer seem to work.
I have experience working in counselling agency settings, supporting people with anxiety, low mood, bereavement and loss (including the loss of a pet), relationship and family difficulties — including parent–child conflict — and the impact of abuse. I also work with those navigating major life transitions, such as menopause or retirement, or feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected.
I offer both short-term and longer-term therapy, depending on what feels right for you.
