About me and my therapy practice

I am an Integrative Counsellor and Executive Coach supporting professionals, leaders and individuals navigating high-pressure roles and complex workplace environments. My therapeutic background includes working with a wide range of issues such as stress, burnout, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, workplace conflict and significant life or career transitions.

Before becoming a counsellor, I spent more than 20 years in the corporate sector, including 12 years managing international client relationships and cross-border initiatives. This experience gives me first-hand insight into organisational pressures, leadership complexity, performance expectations and the personal toll that demanding professional responsibilities can take. It enables me to offer therapy that is emotionally attuned while grounded in real-world understanding of corporate life.

I am also completing a Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching at Henley Business School, which deepens my understanding of workplace dynamics, leadership behaviour and personal development. Integrating counselling and coaching allows me to support clients across both healing and growth—helping them address past experiences that impact their present, while developing strategies, clarity and resilience for the future.

Having lived in both China and the UK, I bring awareness of cultural identity, belonging and cross-cultural communication, and I welcome clients from all backgrounds. My aim is to offer an inclusive, confidential and collaborative space where you can feel deeply heard, understood and supported.

Practice description

My practice provides a dedicated therapeutic space for professionals and leaders seeking support with workplace pressure, emotional wellbeing, and personal development. I work integratively, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities to tailor sessions to your individual needs. I offer trauma-aware therapy and frequently support clients who have experienced abuse, including childhood trauma. Sessions move at a pace that feels safe for you, with an emphasis on emotional safety, grounding and clear boundaries.

For executive and workplace-focused clients, I integrate coaching principles where helpful—supporting you to strengthen self-awareness, leadership presence, career clarity, communication and resilience. Many clients come to me for support with stress, burnout, imposter feelings, team or relationship challenges, decision-making, confidence, and navigating transitions.

Whether the focus is personal, professional or both, my role is to help you gain insight, build capacity and create meaningful, sustainable change in your life and work.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor offering therapy to adults from diverse backgrounds. I work with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, trauma, loss and life transitions.

A significant part of my work involves supporting clients who have experienced abuse, including childhood sexual abuse. I offer a sensitive, trauma-aware space where painful experiences can be explored safely and at your own pace.

My integrative approach allows me to draw on a range of therapeutic modalities to meet your individual needs. This offers flexibility to explore both past experiences and present-day challenges, combining empathy and reflection with practical strategies that support coping and meaningful change.

Before training as a counsellor, I spent over 20 years in the corporate sector managing international client relationships and cross-border projects. This brings valuable insight into workplace pressures, leadership challenges and the emotional impact of high-demand professional environments. It enables me to support clients experiencing stress, burnout, conflict at work, leadership challenges and career transitions.

I am currently completing a Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching at Henley Business School, further deepening my understanding of leadership, workplace dynamics and personal development. Integrating counselling and coaching allows me to accompany clients throughout their journey—from healing past wounds to realising their potential and achieving future goals.

Practice description

My practice offers a warm, inclusive and confidential space for exploration, reflection and personal growth. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and bring an awareness of cultural difference, identity and belonging, shaped by my experience of living in both China and the UK.

I provide trauma-aware, relational counselling tailored to your needs and at a pace that feels safe for you. Whether you are seeking support with emotional wellbeing, relationship patterns, workplace stress, or life transitions, my focus is to help you feel heard, valued and supported.

Drawing on my background in both counselling and coaching, I work collaboratively to help you build understanding, develop coping strategies and move towards meaningful and sustainable change. My aim is to support you in strengthening resilience, improving relationships, and creating greater clarity and balance in your life and work.

My first session

Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, so I aim to make the process as comfortable and straightforward as possible.

I offer a free first session which is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for you to talk about what has brought you to counselling. We will explore what you hope to gain from therapy and discuss how we might work together. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you feel ready to — there’s no pressure or expectation.

This initial meeting also gives you a chance to experience my way of working and decide whether you feel comfortable with me as your counsellor. I believe that a good therapeutic relationship is at the heart of effective counselling, so it’s important that you feel safe, heard and respected.

Practical aspects such as confidentiality, session frequency and fees will also be discussed. By the end of the first session, we can agree on the best way forward — whether that’s continuing for a few sessions or working together longer-term.

I offer in person and online sessions.  I’m happy to answer any questions before we start so that you can feel confident and supported from the beginning.
