About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m a qualified mental health therapist in London, offering individual therapy to adults seeking meaningful change, clarity, and self-understanding.
For me, therapy is a collaborative process, a partnership designed to help unravel life’s complexities and deepen your connection with your authentic self. Through our work together, we can build self-awareness, resilience, and a stronger sense of agency in navigating life’s challenges.
My approach is integrative and person-centred, tailored to your unique needs and experiences. I provide individual psychotherapy that is collaborative, supportive, and empowering - helping you explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviours with curiosity and compassion.
As a therapist of colour, I recognise the importance of cultural sensitivity and the courage it takes to share your story. I have had the privilege of working with clients from diverse cultural, racial, and religious backgrounds, as well as with individuals across different sexual orientations and gender identities. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, and affirming space where your lived experiences are acknowledged and valued.
Starting therapy can feel daunting, and finding the right fit matters. In our sessions, I aim to provide a warm, accepting environment that encourages self-exploration, healing, and growth. Whether you are navigating anxiety, stress, identity concerns, relationship difficulties, or life transitions, I am here to support you in finding clarity, confidence, and your authentic voice.
My first session
I operate from a holistic and integrative approach to therapy, drawing from person-centred, cognitive behavioural (CBT), and psychodynamic techniques to inform my practice. My approach is both trauma-informed and culturally sensitive, with a strong emphasis on providing individualised treatment that aligns with your values, background, and emotional needs.
In our sessions, we work together to examine unhelpful thought patterns, irrational beliefs, and the influence of past experiences on your present behaviours and relationships. This process encourages insight and helps you build healthier boundaries, strengthen coping strategies, and reconnect with your authentic self.
Therapy can involve exploring unfamiliar emotions, vulnerabilities, and deeply rooted patterns and I aim to make this journey one of curiosity, compassion, and growth.
Your first counselling session will serve as a collaborative overview of your life - helping us understand what has brought you to therapy, key relationships, areas of challenge, and aspects of your identity that are important to you.
Confidentiality is central to my practice, and I take care to create a safe and trusting therapeutic space where you can explore freely. I’m happy to address any questions or concerns you may have as you take this courageous step towards healing, self-awareness, and emotional well-being.
